R36 000 rent for R1,5m house is just a dream. You’re lucky to get R20k rental for a R3m house.

The numbers aren’t making sense. A 1.5 mil house wouldn’t pull in R36k a month No one in their right mind would pay that

😂😂😂😂😂 …. Jo’burg municipality increased people’s property values just so they can pay more for municipal services. Also why would you pay R36k for a R1.2m property? They pay around +-R12k bond for it

He is lying. Even on propert 24 you can Google you won’t make such. Lately people pay enough to cater for your bond instalment you only getting few rands out of it. Mxm I rented my house I wasn’t gaining much I had to move back in

I doubt his figures. In fact his figures don’t make sense. There’s no property valued at 1.5m generating rental income of 36k. He’s lying.

It depends on which kind of property, if you buy a 3 bedroom house of R1.3 million for rental purposes, you’ll make about R12500 a month in rental income. No one will pay you R30000 rental for that property. Unless it’s rental rooms which should come with about 12 bachelors.
