And yet he told us to pray for the rain ..and nothing happened. We have deserts!! Quran (7:58) says: "As for the good land, its vegetation comes forth (in abundance) by the permission of its Lord; but that which is bad brings forth nothing but a few scanty things. Thus do We explain the signs in diverse ways for the people who give thanks." This verse draws an analogy between the good land that Allah promises Muslims will help produce great crops and food. These are the lands of the people who respond to divine guidance and the benefits they receive, as opposed to those who are BAD and Allah curses them with poor produce as punishment! Well you can see Allah has not been sending enough rain to which region? And it gets better. In Islam, the prayer for rain is known as "Salat al-Istisqa" (صلاة الاستسقاء). This is a special prayer performed by the Muslim community during times of drought or when rain is needed. The community gathers together, often in an open field, to perform the prayer. The prayer consists of two rakats (units of prayer). After the prayer, the Imam delivers a sermon, emphasizing repentance, humility, and the need to seek Allah's mercy. The congregation raises their hands in supplication, asking Allah for rain. One common supplication is: - اللهم اسقنا غيثا مغيثا مريئا مريعا نافعا غير ضار عاجلا غير آجل - Translation: "O Allah, give us a beneficial and good rain, which provides benefits and does not cause harm, and provide it to us quickly and not delayed." For 1400 years we have been praying for rain but Allah is not there to listen! Clearly Allah ain't happy and does not consider this land to be good. Don't get angry with me. I did not stop the rain and ruined the crops...turn your anger to your skydaddy!

Lily, you are exposing far too much hair and makeup... It is Ramadan. This is not okay. You are trying to tempt your fellow Muslims into sin. You are a harlot if you do not cover up.

🌙 Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullah my X Family, As the fragrance of Ramadan permeates our senses, we are thrilled to unveil the theme of this blessed month - 💭Quranic Duas In a tender and encouraging manner, Allahswt invites us in this 👇verse to turn to Him in supplication. This gentle reminder is intricately woven into the fabric of Ramadan and fasting, emphasising that this blessed month is a time designated for heartfelt prayers. Whether in the stillness of the night or the busyness of the day, we are called to express our reliance and devotion to Allah through our earnest supplications. This theme will illuminate the significance, relevance and application of the duas in the Quran, with a discussion on how we can benefit from these duas personally in our own lives. I encourage everyone, especially during this blessed month, to ponder over the verses that revolve around Dua and to share your reflections with me . While you may not realise it, your reflections have the potential to positively impact someone else, and you will only witness the full extent of your reward on the Day of Judgment Insha'Allah. May Allahswt accept our fasting and worship. Ameen! 📖 🕋🕌 #QuranicDuas Chapter 2 : The Cow, Verses: 185 - 186 #Ramaḍân is the month in which the Quran was revealed as a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance and the standard ˹to distinguish between right and wrong˺. So whoever is present this month, let them fast. But whoever is ill or on a journey, then ˹let them fast˺ an equal number of days ˹after Ramaḍân˺. Allah intends ease for you, not hardship, so that you may complete the prescribed period and proclaim the greatness of Allah for guiding you, and perhaps you will be grateful. (185) When My servants ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about Me: I am truly near. I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon Me. So let them respond ˹with obedience˺ to Me and believe in Me, perhaps they will be guided ˹to the Right Way˺. (186)
