Protecting our community is not censorship.

You're a "public servant" Not a ruler/dictator You work for us You do not rule us We will determine what we choose to see We are not children You are not our nanny Time to "know your place" As a public servant

In the nicest possible way, Please

You do not protect the community by blinding them and gagging them you tyrant.

This is what every despot in history has said, you self-righteous, arrogant, danger to society.

Giving lectures is not your job, either. Basic administration: schools, health, roads etc. That's it. Not to be the moral police - you're way out of your boundaries.

Oh, stop it. Your govt is the largest purveyor of misinformation in Australia. Its compulsion to censor is political, self serving. Every word a lie.

You are one of the biggest failures of politics in human history. Free speech is a human right whether this gov likes it or not, the people you serve have spoken. To keep pushing against their freedoms is to the demise of your own. Wake up Tanya.

It can be though can’t it? So please don’t bake such broad statements … you don’t need to protect me from what others are saying/posting - I can turn it off or not as I see fit as I’m an adult …

You don't get to decide what Australians can & can't see (much less the whole world 🤣 ) How about instead of pretending to care about keeping us safe online you focus on keeping us physically safe? #NoMisDisBill

But thats what every authoritarian says. Would you allow footage of 9/11? or Gaza? Or George Floyd being killed? Or the Capital riots? If yes - what's the difference? And why should government get to decide? The stabbing of the bishop was a lot less horrific than much I have seen - on mainstream news as well.
