Protection while viewing any eclipse is important. ☀️ If you don't have sunglasses, homemade bloodcursed elven arrows will do.

Solar eclipses can be exciting! But if you aren’t careful, they can harm your eyes, even permanently. Here’s how you can safely watch an eclipse 👇 ✅ Dos - Use solar eclipse glasses or a handheld solar viewer that meets the ISO 12312-2 international safety standards—at all times - Supervise kids closely - Inspect glasses or viewers for damage before use ❌ Don'ts - Using unsafe filters like sunglasses, smartphone cameras, x-rays, etc. - Removing glasses or lens at any time while viewing the eclipse - Viewing the eclipse through unfiltered cameras or telescope even with eclipse glasses Ensure safety first! If you notice any changes in your vision after viewing the eclipse, seek immediate advice from an eye care professional.

🌒☀️ THE UK’S BIGGEST SOLAR ECLIPSE SINCE 1999 IS ALMOST HERE! ☀️🌒 Good afternoon everyone, On Wednesday 12th August, people across the UK will have the chance to witness the greatest solar eclipse visible from the UK since the famous 1999 eclipse — and we won’t get another eclipse this impressive from the UK until 2081! 🤯 Exactly how much of the Sun disappears behind the Moon — and the time of maximum eclipse — will depend on where you are in the country. Some western areas will get an especially impressive view as the eclipse takes place during the evening and heads towards sunset. 🌅🌒 ⚠️ PLEASE PROTECT YOUR EYES! Never look directly at the Sun, even when most of it is covered by the Moon. Use proper certified solar-eclipse glasses or an indirect viewing method such as a pinhole projector. Ordinary sunglasses are NOT safe. 📲 Please share or forward this to your family and friends so they know there’s something rather special happening in the sky on Wednesday evening! After all, the next comparable UK opportunity is a very long wait… 2081! 😳☀️🌒

1/3 🧵 Preserving your ability to get off the floor is highly relevant to any of you 55+... You won't have issues now... You will in a few decades if you don't train this ability.
