His assumption is flawed. The “primary source” isn’t scripture alone. The primary source is the Church Christ founded, with the authority to bind and loose, along with Sacred Tradition and Sacred Scripture that the Church canonized.

Protestants are just wannabe rabbis. For both of them, sacrifice is destroyed and all they have left are secular teachings. They may as well be as scattered as the jews once were. The two have very much in common, as we witness firsthand.

Having the Internet has been a double-edged sword against Protestantism and any other groups that tend to misrepresent Church history to push convenient ideological agendas. The question that they can't answer is if these practices aren't in or informed by the original deposit why didn't one of the churches simply abandon them. They can say Catholics are wrong about them and they think its over but you still have to deal with Eos,OOs, and Assyrians.

What are you talking about? Christ explicitly pointed to tradition. The icons were not in primary sources because it wasn’t even questioned. Sola Scriptura is condemned in James. Intercession of the saints is explicit from the beginning. The error is the reason it was dogmatized
