In an interview with The New York Times, Zohran Mamdani says he believes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "belongs in The Hague," for being a war criminal and pointing to the International Criminal Court arrest warrant. The United States is not a state party to the Rome Statute, which founded the International Criminal Court (ICC) in 2002. The sole reason the Trump regime is going after the ICC is to try and protect Netanyahu. The ICC has issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu, allegeding that he is responsible for the war crimes of starvation as a method of warfare and of intentionally directing an attack against the civilian population; and the crimes against humanity of murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts from at least 8 October 2023 until at least 20 May 2024. American citizens have nothing to fear from the ICC...

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani says he is consulting legal officials on whether Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu could be ARRESTED if he visits the UN General Assembly in September. “I believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu belongs in the Hague. He's a war criminal who has been charged by the International Criminal Court. And what you will find is that is an opinion that is held by many purely because of what his actions have wrought over these last many years. I've also said that I will follow the laws that we have here in New York City because I believe that there is an importance in following the law as a leader who presides over our city and that's something that I plan to do.” Mamdani said his administration is reviewing all legal obligations, including those related to the UN, to determine what action, if any, could be taken.
