Protesters marching to abolish ICE are currently outnumbered by NYPD in downtown Manhattan. 3(?) arrests so far, all for being in the roadway. The small protest, less than a block long, is being flanked by 10+ police vans and hoards of nypd on foot, including SRG.

A lot of black and brown cops licking Adams' boot so that ICE can throw the guy, working to pay for family, at the deli, where they get their fucking sandwich every day, out of the country. ACAB doesn't do justice to these cucks. More like All Cops Are Bitchass Motherfuckers.

Like the plot to a dystopian movie, New York will now monitor social media writings, collect data, and use law enforcement to crack down on any expression it deems to be hate speech.

They should keep doing this until they have exhausted either the cops or the city's budget.

brave protestors marching while surrounded by nypd. these are the kind of people who will be leading the Resistance, not the Democratic party. Abolish ICE!

Instead of going after drug dealers and human traffickers, the Piggie Parade focuses on harassing peaceful protesters?

Manhattan, New York, Tuesday Evening: The New York City Police Department (NYPD) arrested dozens of protesters on Tuesday evening at an anti-ICE protest inside a Manhattan hotel, marking the first mass arrest under the new administration of New York City’s Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Protesters took over the lobby of the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan, pushing their calls to abolish ICE and for the agency to leave New York City. Officials with the federal agency, those carrying out the Trump administration’s stated goals of “mass deportations,” were allegedly staying at that hotel. The Hilton has faced calls nationwide to stop housing ICE and other immigration enforcement officials, as tensions escalate nationwide in response to the aggressive escalation under Trump. (Drop Site did not see any federal officials at the hotel). Arrests of the protesters were carried out by the NYPD unit in charge of counterterrorism and protest control, the Special Response Group (SRG). Mamdani has repeatedly called to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the main agency tasked with carrying out immigration enforcement operations. Mamdani also previously promised to disband the NYPD-SRG counterterrorism and protest control unit. With banners, speakerphones, and signs, the protesters occupied the lobby of the hotel, as NYPD officers demanded they disperse. The protesters continued their chants, saying “ICE out of New York,” “Abolish ICE,” and “The [Hilton] staff deserve a raise!” After about an hour and a half of protesters sitting and chanting inside the lobby, the NYPD-SRG, dressed in riot control gear, moved into the hotel through a back door and arrested the remaining protesters. A protest organizer told Drop Site around 70 people were arrested. Other reports said around 40 people were arrested. They were loaded onto a large NYPD bus, as they continued to chant. 🎥 Report by José Olivares (Jose Olivares) from the scene of the anti-ICE protests and subsequent arrests.
