Protesters occupied a Columbia University building after a deadline passed for them to leave their camp or face suspension. The students stormed Hamilton Hall, which was taken over in a 1968 Vietnam war protest, and renamed it after 6-year-old Hind Rajab who was killed in Gaza.

If there is a will… there is a way Columbia University students who have barricaded themselves in Hamilton Hall as part of a larger Pro-Palestine sit-in protest, have devised a system of buckets and rope to re-up supplies. Columbia has promised to expel all students who are “illegally occupying” the building. NYPD is on standby waiting for the go-ahead from the University to forcibly remove the students if necessary.
