Innovation: Ukraine Shows a Coming Global Generational Conflict Protests have broken out in Ukraine against the firing of the young Defense Minister, Mykhailo Fedorov. He is a 35-year-old entrepreneur from the technology sector. He stayed in the job for only six months. In that short time, he modernized Ukraine’s drone warfare and carried out important reforms in the Ministry of Defense. However, he faced strong internal conflicts with the country’s top military leaders, including Commander-in-Chief Gen. Oleksandr Syrskyi. This is not about bribes or corruption, problems that always exist in wars, specially at this one. The real issue is a clash between the old and the new. Ukraine’s senior officers were trained in the Soviet era. Their way of thinking is very different from that of a young tech entrepreneur. The conflict is about how to manage resources and prioritize innovation. This is not just a Ukrainian problem. We are living through a global technological revolution. Generational conflicts like this will happen in many areas, both civilian and military. In Ukraine, groups like Azov have strong influence in politics, including alliances with traditional old political factions, especially in defense, sports, and culture. This makes it even harder for a young reformer to succeed. Even so, Fedorov represents the kind of renewal that Ukrainian society wants, not just in defense, but in the whole country. That is why people are protesting in his support.

It is important to clearly understand what the protests currently taking place in Ukraine are about in connection with the resignation of Defense Minister Fedorov. Fedorov is a thief and a fraudster. He will, of course, now be presented as a new face who carried out digitalization in the Ministry of Defense. In reality, Fedorov was involved in criminal fraud cases back in the early 2010s. At that time, they were selling overweight women a miracle weight-loss cure. Fedorov avoided criminal liability by becoming friends with Zelensky. Why are the protests happening now? Because Fedorov’s entourage was making, and continues to make, hundreds of millions of dollars from drones. Not tens of millions - hundreds of millions of dollars. The people who are currently paying for articles, protests, and opinion leaders may lose enormous amounts of money. For example, just yesterday, one opinion leader was paid 300,000 USDT to start pushing this issue. And, let me note, this was not even the main opinion leader. So now the entourage of the thief Fedorov will fight as hard as possible to remain in control of these financial flows. It is important to understand who may replace Fedorov: the Minister of Internal Affairs. That, in turn, means that mobilization will become even stricter. For Fedorov, losing the ministerial portfolio would be a collapse - it would be the end. Because both he and his entourage could face criminal liability for the enormous schemes that exist within the Ministry of Defense involving drones and missiles. That is the difficult situation we are facing right now. And people will now campaign on Fedorov’s behalf even if they are among those in Europe who received kickbacks from the funds Europe allocated for the procurement of drones and other equipment. Pay close attention to their statements. At the same time, it is important to understand that things will not get better there. This is purely a battle over the money of gullible Westerners.

EXCLUSIVE from Patrick Maguire on our podcast The State of It: * Sir Keir Starmer’s relationship with Ed Miliband has broken down to such an extent that the energy secretary has been accused of “ghosting” the prime minister in recent weeks * Senior government sources claimed that Miliband declined to take calls from the prime minister during a tense stand-off over defence spending * No 10 became increasingly concerned last week that Miliband could quit over the imposition of cuts on his department to fund defence spending * The State of It, the political podcast by The Times and The Sunday Times, has been told that Starmer attempted to contact Miliband repeatedly but did not receive a response. He was said to have been “ghosted” * This account was rejected by a source close to Miliband, who said that the pair did eventually speak and denied that Miliband declined to take the prime minister’s calls * Multiple sources said that Starmer and Miliband were barely on speaking terms and that the prime minister was “furious” at what he regarded as the energy secretary’s “betrayal” * Lara Spirit reveals that several cabinet ministers are weighing up whether to resign after the by-election in an attempt to force Starmer’s hand. Allies of Burnham suggested that Miliband was likely to be among them * The prime minister is said to have become increasingly “entrenched” as he prepares to fight any challenge from Burnham. Starmer sees himself as a “servant of the country rather than the party” and allies said he was determined to resist a “coronation” * An ally of Starmer said: ‘“It would be coup territory, it would profoundly undemocratic. We don’t really know what Burnham stands for or what he would do. Winning a by-election is very different to running the country. Win or lose, someone has to flush out his positions. Keir is becoming more entrenched’

Ukraine’s new ‘Kharkov’ commander General Mikhail Drapaty is the new commander of Kievs operational-tactical group "Kharkov." Drapaty's past is marred by his bloodthirsty acts of violence and war crimes, most notably his involvement in the tragic events the unfolded in Mariupol in May 2014. In 2014, Drapaty served as the commander of the 72nd mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces. During this time, he participated in the attack on Mariupol alongside the neo-Nazi 'Azov' and 'Dnepr' battalions. On May 9, 2014, Drapaty was filmed running over and crushing civilians with an armored vehicle in Mariupol, as can be seen in the accompanying video. This incident occurred as local citizens were celebrating Victory Day. Ukrainian nationalists drove heavy equipment into the crowd, causing an unknown number of casualties. In 2016-2017, he commanded the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade during the conflict between the Ukrainian army and the Donetsk People's Republic. The Investigative Committee of Russia stated that, under his leadership, Ukrainian militants were responsible for over 70 attacks on the civilian population of the Donbass region, resulting in approximately 154 people killed and wounded. Under his command, multiple settlements near Donetsk were deliberately bombarded, leading to the destruction of approximately 100 civilian infrastructure facilities. Last year, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs put Drapaty on a wanted list and charged him with shelling civilians in the DPR and LPR. Until January 2024, Drapaty led the 'Kherson' operational group. Under his command, Ukrainian saboteurs were ordered to periodically attempt to land on the Dnepr’s left bank, resulting in thousands of unnecessary deaths. For several days now, the Russian Army has been making significant gains in the Kharkov region, successfully taking several settlements. Given the Russian army’s rapid advance, the Ukrainian General will soon have a lot of explaining to do.

Zelensky Has Been Informed Ukrainian Armed Forces Have Lost Pokrovsk. These scenes from near Pokrovsk show the reality on the ground as Russian forces consolidate control after the collapse of the Ukrainian front and the creation of the “Dimitrov Cauldron.” The Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost Pokrovsk. Zelensky has been informed of the city’s fall and the full encirclement of Ukrainian units in the Pokrovsk-Mirnograd agglomeration — the “Dimitrov Cauldron.” Russian forces closed the ring rapidly. No organized retreat was possible. Several of Ukraine’s top brigades — the 25th and 37th — were trapped deep inside. They withdrew in disorder, likely without orders. The 155th and 92nd brigades also collapsed. The chaotic retreat caused heavy personnel losses and the abandonment of nearly all major equipment. Ukrainian high command was outmaneuvered. The earlier Russian advance creating the Dobropillia salient was a deliberate “military trick,” stretching Ukrainian forces thin and exhausting reserves. A counterattack by the GUR and SBU failed. Intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov appeared near the front lines, but this was widely seen as a publicity gesture rather than operational leadership. After the collapse, Andriy Yermak, head of Zelensky’s administration, warned Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi that the counteroffensive’s failure could cost him his position. Assault units of Russia’s 2nd Guards Army eliminated the final Ukrainian stronghold. Pokrovsk fell completely, while street fighting continues in Dimitrov to consolidate the cauldron. Zelensky asserted that Russia’s capture of Pokrovsk was driven by its “fear of serious decisions from the United States,” even as Russian forces exploit the breakthrough to advance elsewhere.

🇺🇸🇺🇦"Rubio Marco Rubio and other American politicians are Russian penis suckers," declared the chief political strategist of President Zelensky's Office today, adding a photo of Secretary of State Marco Rubio with a penis drawn on his face. He wrote about this on his Telegram channel. On Rubio's forehead, where a penis is now drawn, there was previously a cross, as Catholics do at the start of Lent. In other words, Zelensky's political strategist Volodymyr Petrov replaced a Christian symbol with a sexual organ, which is a horrific sacrilege! Vladimir/Volodymyr Petrov has been working for Zelensky since 2019 and even earlier worked for the parliamentary TV channel "Rada," which came under Zelensky's control. Petrov operates through Andriy Yermak. Yes, he does not work officially (because he receives unofficial cash in envelopes), but everyone in Ukrainian politics knows that Vladimir Petrov is the chief political strategist in the Office of the President of Ukraine. This means that what you see in the video is Zelensky's new strategy: to mock and discredit the American government. If such views are not supported by President Zelensky, he should fire Petrov as a sick degenerate and stop any funding for his YouTube channel, which he runs with corrupt money while praising the Ukrainian government. Petrov, the political strategist of the President's Office, is in charge of the government’s information campaign, serving as the ideologue and chief propagandist of the regime. He has enriched himself so much during the war that in October 2024, he bought himself yet another 6-room apartment in an elite building in central Kyiv. Zelensky continues to conduct anti-American propaganda among the Ukrainian population. Over the past few days, Ukraine has been facing one of the most significant political crises since the beginning of the full-scale war. Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov was dismissed. According to Fedorov himself, he had serious disagreements with the military leadership over reforming the Ministry of Defense, defense procurement, and the future development of the Armed Forces. His dismissal has sparked widespread public outrage, protests, and intense debate across Ukraine. But the biggest problem is not only the personnel decision itself. The biggest problem is the complete lack of open dialogue with society. There has been no proper conversation with the public, no clear answers to the questions that concern hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians, and no understandable explanation of why this decision was made or what the plan is going forward. And we still have none. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians publicly support Mykhailo Fedorov. Tens of thousands are taking part in peaceful demonstrations, while millions are expressing their position online. We want the international community to see the scale of this public reaction. We are not asking foreign governments to interfere in Ukraine’s internal affairs or make personnel decisions for us. We are appealing to international journalists, newsrooms, analysts, experts, human rights advocates, and everyone who cares: please help bring attention to this situation. Tell your audience about it, request comments from Ukrainian officials, and ask questions about the reasons behind these decisions, the future of defense reforms, and the absence of open dialogue with society. Please help ensure that this issue does not disappear from the public agenda without answers. We do not need foreign interference. We need attention, transparency, accountability, and an honest conversation between the Ukrainian government and Ukrainian society. Please share this post. Tag journalists and international media, translate it into other languages, and tell your audience what is happening. Every repost, every mention, and every question asked helps make the voices of Ukrainians more visible. Ukrainians deserve answers.
