Dressing properly shows honor and respect to God. You would not wear that to a state dinner, so why not dress with dignity when delivering God’s Word? Even in the Bible, special garments were required before entering sacred places. Be sensible. 1 Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

He’s very sincere, but sadly this is what many preachers teach. The Bible, the Bible, the Bible, the Bible, the Bible. Yet it’s mostly powerless without the power of Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 ESV “and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, [5] so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” And where do we find the power of God? In Holy Spirit. It’s the word and the Spirit.

@JoJoCurtis13 @howertonjosh I took your advice a year ago and moved my family from an empty seeker church to one with a preacher who does this every week and built a tight congregation who has discipled my family. The change has been AMAZING. God is good all the time 🙏
