This is nice and smooth and there's a lot to like, but can I ask a dumb question: why are you moving the text around vertically? Is it to make it more fun/reactive? I worry it might not be worth the distraction UX wise

Not a dumb question at all! Was actually approaching this from a UX perspective as not moving the text meant that the slider and text would overlap.

Imagine being the human having to execute on that order. a 69-31 split. Gonna need some precise measuring equipment in the kitchen lol.
