Michael Phelps won 23 Olympic gold medals using a mental technique most athletes ignore: "The biggest thing that really separated me through my career was my mental game. Everything that was in between my ears." Michael explains how he used visualization: "When I would visualize, I'd visualize every single thing getting up to a meet, probably a month or so in advance. What could happen. What I want to happen. And what I don't want to happen. Because when it happened, I was prepared for it." He describes the goal: "When I got to a swim meet, there's nothing I can control at that point except what I do. I can't control what anybody else does. So I want to know how the race could go, how I don't want the race to go, and in a perfect world, how the race should go. So I could get behind the block and not have to think about anything." His coach Bob Bowman reveals how they trained this skill: "When Michael was young, I gave his mom a book of progressive relaxation. Before he'd go to bed at night, she would read this progression of things: clench your fists, work through your whole body. He got so good she'd just open the book, say two things, and he'd be asleep." Bowman explains why visualization works: "The brain cannot distinguish between something that's vividly visualized and something that's real. By the time Michael steps up on the block at the Olympics, he's swum that race hundreds of times in his mind. All he has to do is shut everything down and it goes on autopilot." Michael adds the key detail most miss: "When I would visualize, it would be what you want it to be, what you don't want it to be, what it could be. So you're always ready for anything. If I have a suit rip, fine, I need another suit, put it on. Any small thing that could go wrong, I'm ready for."

Beethoven could not hear the music he wrote. At the age of 28, he realized he was no longer able to listen to a flute being played in the distance, and he spent the rest of his life composing the most enduring music in Western history in almost complete silence... He had been a working musician since childhood. His ears were everything. In 1798, in the middle of a heated argument with a singer, he noticed for the first time that something was wrong. The sound was thinning at the edges. He could hear voices, but high frequencies were beginning to disappear. He told no one for years. By 1802, the truth was no longer deniable. On his doctor's advice he moved to Heiligenstadt, a quiet village outside Vienna, hoping the country air would help. It did not. There, alone and surrounded by farmland, he wrote a letter to his two brothers that he never sent. It was found among his papers after his death. We now call it the Heiligenstadt Testament, and it is one of the most devastating documents ever written by an artist about himself: "You men who think or say that I am malevolent, stubborn or misanthropic, how greatly do you wrong me. You do not know the cause of my seeming so... what a humiliation, when one stood beside me and heard a flute in the distance and I heard nothing, or someone heard the shepherd singing, and again I heard nothing." He wrote, in the same letter, that he had thought of ending his life. And then he wrote the line that explains everything that followed: "Only my art held me back. It seemed impossible to me to leave the world before I had produced everything I felt called upon to produce." He went back to Vienna. He went on composing. Over the next two decades his hearing continued to fade. Friends began writing their words down in small notebooks instead of speaking them aloud, and waiting while he read. Modern scholars call these the conversation books. Around four hundred of them survive. To compose, he developed his own methods. He bit one end of a wooden rod and pressed the other against the soundboard of his piano, letting the vibrations travel through his jaw to his inner ear. He had stumbled, through trial and error, onto the principle that modern science calls bone conduction. The cause of his deafness has never been settled. What we do know is this: he realized he was losing his hearing at twenty-eight, and he could have stopped. He wrote the letter, he held the thought of dying in his hand, and then he put down the pen and went back to work. Most of what he is remembered for was composed after that moment: The Fifth Symphony. The Seventh. The Ninth. The Missa Solemnis. The late quartets. All of it was made by a man who could no longer hear most of what he was writing. There are people who give the world what they receive, and there are people who give the world what they were never able to receive. The most enduring beauty in human history has almost always come from the second kind... -- -- -- If you enjoyed this, I write a weekly newsletter read by over 50,000 people who love rediscovering the beauty of the past. You can join us here: I write about beauty in all its forms. If you'd like to support my work, a paid subscription is what makes it possible.

Elon Musk just explained why a species that solved survival still can’t say what it survived for. Famine. Plague. Predators. Ten thousand years spent answering one question. How do we get to morning. We answered it. The prize was a life optimized for everything except a reason to live it. Musk: “Life cannot just be about solving one miserable problem after another. That can’t be the only thing.” He isn’t philosophizing. He’s naming a design flaw. Every institution we built aims at one target. Don’t die. We hit it, then kept firing, because nothing was ever drafted for what comes after. A solved problem returns you to zero. That is its entire function. Zero is where you stood before it arrived. So a life spent only solving problems is a life spent returning, over and over, to the same coordinate. You can do that flawlessly for fifty years. Nobody would call it failure. There isn’t a word for it. Because a life held perfectly at zero and a life that never happened leave the same evidence behind. The trap holds because from the inside it feels like responsibility. Every problem in your life is gone by tomorrow morning. Money, work, health, the whole ledger. Cleared. What do you do at 9am? Most people have no answer. Not a sad one. Nothing at all. That isn’t depression. It’s an empty coordinate. You’ve been navigating by what’s behind you, and when that clears, the direction clears with it. Push further and it gets worse. Most of what you call your personality is the shape you took under pressure. Remove the pressure and find out how much of that shape was you. Musk: “There need to be things that inspire you, that make you glad to wake up in the morning and be part of humanity.” Inspire is too soft for what he means. A reason that holds when nothing is wrong. Scale that up and you get the century we’re in. A species with no frontier doesn’t go quiet. It turns inward and starts dividing what it already has. Musk quotes Tsiolkovsky: “Earth is the cradle of humanity, but you cannot stay in the cradle forever.” That line gets read as being about size. It isn’t. A cradle isn’t defined by how small it is. It’s defined by the fact that everything inside it was put there by someone else. Warmth, food, safety, all provided. Nothing in a cradle was built by the one lying in it. That’s the condition he’s naming. Not confinement. Dependence you stopped being able to see. Musk: “It is time to go forth, become a starfaring civilization, out there among the stars, expand the scope and scale of human consciousness.” For 13.8 billion years, matter did nothing but obey. Every star that burned before us burned with nothing in the room to see it. Then a fraction of that matter folded into a shape that could ask why any of it was happening. You are not a thing inside the universe. You’re the part of it that turned around and looked. Musk: “I find that incredibly exciting. That makes me glad to be alive.” The problems regenerate. They always have. That was never the question. The question is whether one thing in your life exists that isn’t a response to something going wrong. Survival was the prerequisite. It was never the point. Everything in the cradle was put there by someone else. The physics. The planet. The body. The language you’re reading this in. Leaving was never about distance. It’s the first thing in that room you put there yourself.

Dear ARMYs, my precious moots. This is a very personal post, not my usual chaos, so please feel free to scroll past. Before anything else, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the messages you sent me last time. I’m sorry I disappeared but I needed time to process everything, to breathe and to find the courage to write these words without falling apart all over again. And still, I’m writing with the heaviest heart, tears running down my face, while part of me continues to refuse that any of this is real. On Monday, I had my annual check-up. The previous ones had gone well, so even though the fear was quietly sitting in the corner of my mind, I kept telling myself that everything would be okay. But then the end of the day came. When it was finally time to go over my results, the two specialists who have been by my side through my previous battles entered the room together. And I knew immediately. Because they only come in together when something is wrong. They started talking and I could hear their voices but my brain refused to take in what they were saying. Their words seemed to float somewhere around me without truly landing. Until a few of them finally did. A new diagnosis. Surgery. No time to wait. And even then my mind refused to accept it. After the shock came the realization. The fear. Then the sadness. Then the anger. Then that cruel, crushing feeling of injustice. I cried.I was scared.I still am. My thoughts went immediately to my children and my mother,my family. Then to BTS, ARMY and all the purple moments I thought were waiting for us. But this is not something I can ignore, postpone or pretend is small. I have to undergo surgery next Monday, followed by a strict one-month recovery. And this is the part that hurts beyond words: I won’t be able to attend any of the boys’ shows. Because these concerts were never “just concerts” to me. They were light and hope. They were something beautiful to hold onto whenever life felt too heavy. I had imagined Brussels and Paris with you: the songs, the fanchants, the laughter, the tears, the chaos, the friendships and that overwhelming feeling of being alive among thousands of purple hearts. Among my other family.

🫎 🪿 The sky had just turned light when my baby brother, Kenji the Mooseweiler, decided to wake up the household by holding his stuffed goose in his mouth and honking it. Over and over. And Over. I opened one sleepy eye to see him standing there proudly honking away like he was performing the National Anthem at a sporting event. I could have happily slept until much closer to breakfast time, but nooooo. Because the oversized Pork Roast's honking woke humans, he was taken outside for a ridiculously early potty break. And humans seem to think when one dog needs to go out, all dogs need to go out. The humans think wrong. I did not need to go out. What I needed was to resume my dream of staying at a luxury resort where I was in the pool doggy paddling my way to the swim up cheese bar. 🧀 Instead I was expected to get up and head outside to keep Kenji company while he did his morning business. I reluctantly rose from my super comfy bed and did the obligatory big stretch, which was NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED!! Then I headed outside where the honker was waiting for me. I went directly into the potty area, squatted and did my business promptly like a good girl. Kenji did 17 laps sniffing the yard, tripped over the pool and nearly fell in it, and then finally lifted a leg on a tree. Another 17 laps and he squatted his moose caboose and did the other part of his business. It was obvious this wasn't an urgent potty situation and that we both could have continued our peaceful slumbers for at least another hour. Because he was taking so long the human had to come outside and do a welfare check. Once she determined we were both present and still alive, she thought it would be fun to work on teaching baby rottie Kenji to give me hugs. Once again she thought wrong. It was not fun. For the right price I'll happily put a paw around him. However I absawoofly do not want his giant clumsy clownpaws randomly smacking me as he tries to figure out where to put them. To make it even more insulting, after the uncoordinated chaos goblin played whack-a-mole on my head, I discovered the human had no treats!! And do you think breakfast was served early when we went back inside? Nope. Not a single morsel. I am now going to nap until I hear the sound of food. And if I hear the sound of Kenji honking that goose, I will repossess it and skillfully extract it's squeaker. 🪿😴 🎥 Feeble hug attempts #HonkingRottie #GooseWakeUpCall #MooseWithGoose #ChesnyyWantsSleep #SendTreatsNotGeese

As a new wave of fire and high winds threaten Los Angeles, the media is reporting that California’s elected leaders are not to blame and that right-wing influencers and Donald Trump are spreading misinformation and politicizing a tragedy. Racial and gender quotas through DEI aren’t to blame. No, Mayor Karen Bass didn’t cut the Fire Department’s budget. No, Gavin Newsom didn’t cut CalFire’s wildfire prevention budget. And no, there wasn’t any way to prevent these fires or the fire hydrant water from running out. Climate change made the disaster inevitable due to “whiplashing” rain levels. They’re all lies. The Fire Department had made DEI such a priority that the city’s Deputy Fire Chief dismissed concerns that women would not be able to carry a man out of a fire by saying, “He got himself in the wrong place if I have to carry him out of a fire.” Newsom did indeed reduce CalFire’s wildfire prevention budget by $150 million in 2020. If California had elected leaders who cared about the people and were competent, they could have prevented the catastrophic fires from destroying 14,000 homes and businesses and forcing nearly 200,000 people to evacuate. Climate change is not responsible for the disasters and there is no change in the rain pattern. As always, nuance is required. The offhand remark by the Fire Chief is not proof that DEI contributed to the inadequate response. The disaster is decades in the making. LA’s leaders have known that the city was unprepared for catastrophic wildfires since the Bel Air Fire of 1961, which occurred when Karen Bass was a child and Gavin Newsom wasn’t alive. LA’s fire budget had actually increased by about $50 million compared to the last budget, reported Politico, Time, and the LA Times. And Newsom increased the CalFire budget after 2020 and increased land treated for wildfire prevention by 90,000 acres. But these facts are either wrong, misleading, or both. The attitude toward vulnerable men expressed by the deputy Fire Chief is deeply alarming and anathema to firefighter ethics. That the disaster was decades in the making makes the inaction by California political leaders even more inexcusable. The City Council in November approved $53 million to raise salaries, but that funding is completely irrelevant to the millions Bass cut, which her fire chief last month said had “severely limited the department’s capacity to prepare for, train for, and respond to large-scale emergencies, including wildfires.” And while funding for wildfire prevention increased recently, it wasn’t enough, and Newsom was caught overstating how much land was treated by 690%. The amount of irresponsibility and incompetence displayed by Newsom and Bass is so extreme that insiders are coming forward and speaking out publicly. The owner of the Los Angeles Times went on national television to call it “crazy that we don’t elect leaders with competence.” And LA Fire Chief Kristen Crowley went on CNN, CBS, and Fox to denounce Bass. “Let me be clear,” she said, “the $17 million budget cut… did absolutely negatively impact…. We do not have enough firefighters….We need 62 more fire stations. We've had a 55 percent increase in overall call volume since 2010 and we’re doing it with less firefighters.” As I reported yesterday, over half of all fires that the LA Fire Department puts out are started by the homeless, who may well have started some of the fires ravaging LA. Gavin Newsom spent $24 billion of taxpayer money to increase homelessness by 40% since he took office. Karen Bass ran on a promise to force the homeless inside into shelters but has not done so. Every hour that passes, more information emerges of the corruption, incompetence, and failure. A major reservoir in Pacific Palisades, an epicenter of the fires, was out of commission for minor repairs when disaster struck. Had it been in operation, water pressure would have lasted longer during critical hours, and many homes may have been saved. Yesterday, a leaked LA government memo revealed that Bass had intended to cut an additional $49 million, on top of the $17.5 million already cut, from the fire budget. “I was also directed to develop a plan as part of a budget reduction exercise, and that could equate to 48.8 million,” the LA Fire chief told CNN. “I rang the bell that these additional cuts could be very, very devastating for our ability to provide public safety. That would have resulted to 15 fire stations closing down and potentially the elimination of over 300 firefighters.” The date of the memo is January 6, which is four days after the National Weather Service warned of danger, two days after Bass flew to Ghana on a vanity junket, and one day before the start of the Palisades fire. And LA Fire Department insiders say the head of the city’s Department of Water and Power, who Bass hired, knowingly left fire hydrants remain broken for months, and was the person responsible for draining the emptied reservoir. The response from the news media is that critics of all of this should shut up. “We’re on fire,” editorializedthe LA Times. “Maybe this is not the time for your political hot take.” Why are the LA Times and others in the media defending Bass and Newsom? In large measure because they officially endorsed them. More than that. They actively campaign for them. The hyper-partisan turn of California media two decades ago predated the more recent hyper-partisan nature of the national media. That Democrats had total, supermajority control over the state for 20 years made California media super-authoritarian. The LA Times, in particular is a radical Left publication. It has for years adamantly opposed hospitalizing homeless mentally ill people or requiring homeless addicts to go inside. In both 2020 and in 2021, the LA Times editorial board called for defunding the police to divert funding to social services. For the LA Times, Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass, who visited Cuba at least eight times, expressing admiration for its system of socialist dictatorship, aren’t Left-wing enough. For the media and California’s politicians, the problem is we the people. We complain too much. Our taxes aren’t high enough. We’re causing too much climate change. We get too much in the way of police and fire fighting. And most of all, we spend too much time listening to right-wing influencers who only spread misinformation. We need to sit down and shut up. Like LA’s radical Left deputy fire chief, the media and California’s politicians believe, deep down, that if the people of Los Angeles have to be rescued from fires, then that’s just proof that they got themselves in the wrong place.

This is what a Weaponized Biden DOJ looks like.. The Biden DOJ told so many lies on me that were untrue, that it tore my family completely apart. The Biden DOJ took from me and broke my fucking soul in ways that can never be repaired. I took this video about three months ago when I was having a mental health episode. Some days, the absolute worst pain in anguish that you could ever imagine comes over me. Fortunately, just like during hurricane search and rescue, I’ve learned how to film during high stress situations in order to catch the moment. And I wanted to catch these moments to let you know that they are not just happening for me, but to other January 6 defendant as well who have been completely destroyed. Most of you are on here complaining about me asking for $35 million when I literally put the facts in your face of Democrat judges admitting my constitutional and due process rights were violated and I was weaponized against in Washington DC by the Biden DOJ. I’d be willing to guarantee that 99% of you would’ve ended it by now. If you think that this almost hasn’t driven me to do the same, you’d be crazy. There are many days where I wake up and I feel like I have nothing left to live for. And I want to set the record clear… This is not directed at anybody else other than the DOJ. Had it not been for their lies, their misuse of force, they’re overreaching an extend extending power to not just myself, but my family, employees, friends, and anybody else that knew me personally.. Had it not been for the DOJ withholding evidence about FBI agents/informants who literally infiltrated my rescue organization for the purposes of entrapping me on January 6th.. Had it not been for the DOJ infiltrating the crowd to inside a riot.. Had it not been for the DOJ, I might still have a relationship with my children. But because I can point all of the wrongdoing back to the DOJ and trapping not just myself but other American citizens, they must pay and they must pay handsomely. Because there is truly no amount of money, they can fix what they have taken from me. The mental pain and anguish that I deal with on a daily basis is unlike anything that I’ve ever experienced before my life. I thought that upon leaving prison with a pardon, and then Ed Martin dismissing my charges with prejudice, that my life would get better. It has only gotten worse. I cannot get a job just because I’m a January 6 defendant. I cannot get legal representation because I’m a January 6 defendant. I am constantly having my life threatened both online and off-line because I am a January 6 defendant. Whenever I go out, it’s noticeable the amount of eyes that are on me when I go into town. It’s not just me saying something, my parents and anybody else it’s with me at that moment can see it as well. And this isn’t just happening to me. This is happening to January 6 defendant across the board. It would be one thing if we were wrong. But as President Trump said, we were right. And because we were right, and you tortured and abuse us, you owe us big time. I’ve been quiet, long enough, but I’ve been tortured in my mind long enough now. I can no longer sit by and act like what took place normal or OK. Read the full case files here:

🇺🇦 A Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter asks Russia to stop the fighting so that their military could go to Kiev to overthrow the government. The military man (on the photo) says that deputies in the Verkhovna Rada, when Russia wins, will board their helicopters and fly abroad with the stolen millions with impunity. Therefore, he calls on the Ukrainian and Russian military to stop the fighting so that they, the Ukrainian military, can overthrow the Verkhovna Rada, which contains only thieves and pidarases (fucking fagots-gays). He calls for the property of thieving deputies to be taken away, sold off and the money returned to the budget of Ukraine. As for these scoundrels from Verkhovna Rada, he wants to put them not even in jail but in a common hole. The military man says: “They will ban me again, they will come after me to talk to me again, but I have a gun. Come! What am I doing wrong? I am telling the truth!" He says that Ukraine itself does not produce anything for military needs, there is not a single bullets factory, and they are sent for slaughter, into a meat grinder. At the same time, funding for the military is zero, payments to military wounded are zero, he himself waited for 6 months after being wounded for an investigation to prove that he was wounded by a mine in battle, and did not just go out into the field for a walk. "Fuck, we are holding on just only thanks to support of the volunteers!" he says. His interlocutor says, “The most interesting thing is that you are holding on, but I don’t understand for what? Where Russia comes, pensions are higher, gasoline is cheaper, everything is being built, and men can easily travel abroad. But in Ukraine there is nothing, and they don’t let men out.” “This is the most offensive thing! Previously, I still doubted it, but now I see how the state treats us, the military. And I hate my state. I have a question for all the military: what did our state give you when you returned home? What?"

Israel And Its Supporters Are Causing Attacks On Jewish Institutions Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt gave a bizarre appearance on CNN in response to an attempted car bombing of a Michigan synagogue by a man whose Lebanese family members were killed by Israeli forces. “We are seeing Jewish people, the Jewish state, blamed for the war in the Middle East,” Greenblatt said. “That is wrong. It is wrong to scapegoat, it is wrong to hold Jewish people accountable for something you don’t like on the other side of the planet. And we really need leaders on all sides in politics, running for office, podcasters, to stop with the conspiracies, to stop with the accusations, and then tell us ‘but we oppose antisemitism’. You don’t get to say you’re opposed to hate if you’re trafficking in hateful conspiracy theories.” Now, at first glance it this might read like Greenblatt is taking the entirely reasonable position that it is wrong to blame Jewish Americans for the actions of the Israeli government. But take a closer look at his use of the phrase “the Jewish state”. What Greenblatt is actually doing here is claiming it’s an antisemitic conspiracy theory to blame the state of Israel for its war crimes, while simultaneously lumping all Jewish people in with the actions of that state. That’s what he’s doing when he says “Jewish people, the Jewish state” in the same breath while talking about Israeli acts of mass military violence. It’s so obnoxious how genocide apologists like Greenblatt make a living actively telling everyone that Jews and Judaism are inseparable from the acts of the Israeli government, but whenever there’s an extremist attack by someone who doesn’t distinguish between western Jews and the state of Israel it gets blamed on the pro-Palestine left. Pro-Palestine leftists perform endless verbal gymnastics to avoid conflating Jewish people with the state of Israel, while Israel and its supporters conflate them constantly. Yet we’re always the ones who get blamed whenever there’s a terror attack on a Jewish institution by someone enraged by Israel’s actions. Zionists are the ones doing everything they can to make sure people see the state of Israel as synonymous with Jews and Judaism. That is what they are doing every time they claim a criticism of Israel’s actions is hate speech against Jews. They are claiming that the nation and its government are one and the same as the entirety of the Jewish faith and its adherents. Pro-Palestine leftists have been doing the exact opposite. We go to great pains to make sure all our arguments are carefully worded to avoid being interpreted as an attack on the Jewish faith, making it clear that our grievance is with the state of Israel and the political ideology of Zionism which supports that state’s abusive nature. And then Israel apologists come in and smear those meticulously crafted arguments as a hateful attack on all Jews everywhere. Zionists are therefore responsible for the growing perception that our Jewish neighbors and countrymen are culpable for the abuses of the Israeli government. When more attacks on Jewish institutions occur (and they will), it is Israel and its supporters who will hold the blame for this, not the pro-Palestine left. I am not saying attacks on Jewish institutions should happen. I am not saying it will be good when they do happen. I’m saying it will happen, and when it happens it will be a terrible thing. And it will be the fault of Israel and its supporters. We’ve been running around like crazy trying to stop this, falling all over ourselves to thwart the Zionist efforts to conflate Jews with Israel, but our voices aren’t strong enough. We’re not the ones getting loudly amplified by every mass media outlet, they are. It’s not people like me getting invited to appear on CNN to talk to Wolf Blitzer, it’s people like Jonathan Greenblatt. So when we lose the narrative war on this front and the next extremist attack occurs, it won’t be our fault. It will be theirs. It will be the fault of Israel and its apologists. We fought them as hard as we could to prevent this, but they won. And the consequences of this will therefore rest squarely on their shoulders.

I think Jamie Raskin is absolutely right. Behind the scenes, I have been doing a lot of work filtering through the phenomenal work of so many that have spent so much time trying to navigate what is effectively an unsolvable puzzle delivered by the DOJ, designed to keep everyone busy while revealing very little of the real truth they are deliberately obscuring. Believe me when I say that the sex trafficking and child sexual abuse was never the main item on the menu of what was and I believe still remains a transnational cabal of the rich and powerful operating outside of the law. It is devastating to think that the rape of children was a mere amuse-bouche on a menu of everything from regime change to arms trafficking to drug trafficking and international power broking. There are no rules in this fight club and the DOJ is desperately trying to stem the flow of a wound that if allowed to open further could bring down governments. This is about espionage, blackmail, extortion, organised crime and much more and it dates back decades. I believe it also encompasses the Russian interference campaign in the 2016 and would go so far as to say it’s why Trump is in office today. That’s before we talk about Mossad and the Israeli involvement. I believe Trump is terrified behind the scenes of the Dam walls breaking because NOBODY it seems is safe from unexplained death in this alternative world order. This is MUCH bigger than anyone could imagine and very powerful forces are at work to halt this in its tracks. Don’t you think it ironic that no heads are rolling in the US, while in the UK it is highly likely the UK Prime Minister will be forced to step down leading to instability, opening the door further to right wing populism? This is VERY REAL but people are too busy looking in the wrong places. 🎥 TikTok -

Did you hear what Justin Trudeau is doing to the Amish farmers? One of Justin Trudeau’s stupidest rules during the Covid lockdown was to force Canadians to use the ArriveCan app whenever returning to Canada, or face a $6,000 fine. There was no science behind it — it was just bullying and a cash grab. But did you hear what Trudeau did to the Amish farmers? (You know who the Amish are, right? They’re a group of old-fashioned, religious farmers who came to Canada from Europe to escape religious persecution. They reject modern technology. They don’t use the Internet, or even electricity. They don’t have telephones and they drive around in horses and buggies.) So imagine ordering the Amish to “download the ArriveCan app to their smart phone”. Seriously. Not a single word in that sentence makes sense. But that’s what Trudeau’s border enforcers did. The Canadian Amish go back and forth to the U.S. to visit other Amish communities. And every time they came back, they’d be hit with a $6,000 ArriveCan fine — every man, woman and child. It totalled hundreds of thousands of dollars. The pandemic ended — by the way, not a single Amish got sick, they told me. But then one day, an Amish farmer went to the bank to get a loan to buy some cattle, and he offered his farmhouse as security for the loan, as usual. But the banker told the Amish farmer he couldn’t use his farmhouse as security, because the government had put a lien on it, until the ArriveCan fines were paid! Other Amish farmers checked, and they had the same liens put on their property, too. It was a total surprise — no-one had notified the Amish about that extreme tactic. If you have a lien on your property, you can’t sell it, you can’t mortgage it, and you can’t hand it down from father to son. The entire Amish community was paralyzed by this brutal enforcement of the ArriveCan app, against people who don’t even have cell phones in the first place! This is such an insane story, you’d think every journalist in the country would cover it. I mean, speaking purely from a human interest point of view, it’s fascinating — the Amish are unique; the ArriveCan app is scandalous for other reasons; the fines are astronomical, and putting a lien on a farmhouse, stopping the farmer from being able to operate, is a shocking and abusive act of government bullying. It’s an incredible story. But I haven’t seen a single “mainstream” outlet talk about this at all. Is it because they all support the ArriveCan app? Are they hostile to the Amish? Or do they simply refuse to stand up for anyone who didn’t go along with Covidmania? Granted, it’s hard to tell a story when the subjects of the story don’t use modern communication techniques, and won’t even appear on camera. But there are ways around that. Rebel News broke this story this summer, and we’ve made the decision as a company to cover it in great detail. Every single court date, every single hearing, we’ll be there. Just like we covered all 47 days of Tamara Lich’s trial, we’re going to cover this epic battle between the shy Christian farmers and the bullies of the Covid enforcers. In a way, it’s our duty — because the Amish can’t speak for themselves, we have to be their voice for them. We’re working with The Democracy Fund to crowdfund legal fees to cover the Amish — and so far, 25 different families have signed up for help! But we need to fight this battle on two fronts. The Democracy Fund will fight it in the court of law. And Rebel News will fight it in the court of public opinion. If you think this is an important story that needs to be told, please help me cover the cost of sending a journalist and a cameraman to the courts every time this case moves forward. Like Tamara Lich’s case, it could take years. But the alternative is to have the lives and property of the Amish destroyed by uncaring bureaucrats. I enjoy visiting with the Amish myself, and I’ll lead the coverage. When I can’t make it, my colleague David Menzies will be there, and other Rebels as needed. I had thought that the pain and suffering caused by the Covid lockdowns was over. I was wrong: the government is still persecuting the Amish, who suffer in silence. Help me out by making sure their voice is heard. Please go to follow this story today and in the months ahead. The Amish are old-fashioned so they couldn’t comply with Trudeau’s edict to download the ArriveCan app — surely the border police could see that. Why did they punish the Amish anyways? It’s a difficult story to cover, since no-one from the Amish community will appear on camera. But I promise you we’ll cover everything that happens and tell it to you — and we’ll talk to the lawyers, too, as the battle begins. Please click here or go to keep our journalism coming! 【📢IGLive: อันโดรเมด้า ชุน 】 #จุงอาเชน #JoongArchen 🌞: it’s break time from my shoot. i had one scene this morning and my next scene is at night so i have to wait around the filming location. i came out here to buy some grilled prawns. wait let me show you… oh, shoot… how do i say this? they’re really fresh and they’re cheap too so… i bought the whole batch!. i bought these prawns from a grilled prawn shop to bring back to the set for everyone tonight. cause if nothing goes wrong today should be the wrap day for wan thong 🌞right now i’m filming outside bangkok, and honestly i don’t know what to do while waiting. some people finish their morning scenes, go home and then come back at night. but i’m too lazy to do that. i didn’t want to drive all the way back to bangkok and then drive here again. the crew called me for 9am. so i left home at about 7:30am. to make it on time. while driving i got onto the motorway. i was supposed to turn right toward the filming location but i completely missed the exit and just kept driving straight. at first google maps said i was 19mins away. then all of a sudden…55 mins. and 70km .i was like “oh crap… where the heck am i going?” so i checked the map but there wasn’t anywhere to make a u-turn. then i noticed a police station on the left. on the map it looked like an alternate route like i could turn in there so i did. the eta immediately changed to 24 minutes and i thought “okay… that’s better. at least i won’t have to drive another 55 mins” by then it was already around 8:30 and i had to be in front of the camera within half an hour. so i drove in… …and a couple of security guards stopped me. they said “you can’t go through here”. there were a few other cars that had driven in with me too. they eẽplained “this is the police station. you’re not allowed to drive through” - i said “but the map says i can. it looks like a normal road” they replied “no. we’ve already had several people get fired cause they let cars pass through here” i was like “wait… what do you mean?” then i realized they meant the guards who used to work there. they had gotten fired for letting drivers use that route. so i said “alright that’s okay” i didn’t even ask why it was closed. i didn’t want to cause any trouble for them so i just turned around and left. and in the end… i had to drive another 70km before i finally reached the filming location. while i was driving i saw signs pointing toward Kanchanaburi. my heart literally sank. i was thinking, “oh my god… where on earth am i driving to?” i seriously couldn’t believe it. i just kept driving, already feeling completely defeated. by the time i had reached the police station area, i had already driven about 45km from the city. so altogether: 45km to reach the police station. then another 70km to finally reach the filming location. i was just like “oho wow… amazing” i completely gave up at that point. earlier i had even sent a message to my fans saying “today’s our wrap day! i’m so excited!”

Dear X Family, Please RT my story ❤️ My name is Julie. Darkness has been with me since the day I was born inside Ridglin. I was one of the beagles at Ridglin Farms, bred for a life I didn’t understand, a life filled with fear. I couldn’t see the others, but I could hear them. I could smell them. We were all the same—waiting, afraid. The metal bars of my cage were my whole world, and when the noise, the footsteps, and the fear got too much, I did the only thing I knew to do—I spun. Around and around, in tight circles, my paws moving fast beneath me. It was the only way I could stop the fear from crushing me, the only thing that helped when I didn’t know what else to do. The humans in white coats didn’t notice. They never did. They would come, take one of us away, and that beagle would never come back the same. Or they wouldn’t come back at all. The air was thick with anxiety, and when it filled me too much, I would spin. I’d spin and spin until the world stopped feeling so heavy. Then, one night, something different happened. I heard footsteps again, but these were softer, quicker. They didn’t sound like the humans I was used to. My ears twitched, and I pressed my body against the cage, trying to understand what was happening. Then, I felt a hand—gentle and warm in a way that wasn’t scary. It was different from the cold hands of the humans in white coats. I froze, unsure of what to do. “We’re here to help you,” a voice whispered. I wanted to trust them, but my heart was racing. My paws itched to spin, to make the anxiety go away, but the door to my cage opened, and I felt a different kind of space around me. They lifted me out, cradling me in their arms, and I trembled—not because I was cold, but because I didn’t know what would happen next. The air outside was like nothing I’d ever felt before. It smelled of life, of things growing and moving. I could feel the soft ground beneath my paws. Grass, they called it. It was strange at first, and I spun in small, tight circles, trying to understand where I was. But as I spun, something changed. I felt the soft touch of a hand on my back, and for the first time, the spinning didn’t feel necessary. They took me to a new place, one that smelled of safety and warmth. The air didn’t sting with chemicals or fear. There were no cages, just soft blankets, and voices that spoke kindly. When I spun here, it wasn’t because I was scared—it was because I didn’t know what to do with all this freedom. I still think of the others sometimes. The beagles back at Ridglin Farms, trapped in their cages, waiting, spinning like I used to. They can’t see the world they’re missing, just like I can’t, but I hope that one day they’ll feel what I feel now—freedom. The warmth of the sun on their fur, the soft ground under their paws, and the kindness of people who care. My name is Julie, and though I may never see the world, I can feel it now. I still spin sometimes, but now I know I can stop. I know what it’s like to be free. --------------------------------------------------------- This footage of Julie was captured by our friends, Wayne Hsiung and two other individuals from Direct Action Everywhere. They discovered later Julie was blind. Ridglin Farms dropped the theft charges against Wayne and two others for rescuing the three beagles. They did this to avoid further exposure of their facility to the public. On October 23rd, 2024. A court hearing was held at the Dane County Court House. Wayne and three Whistleblowers presented evidence to the judge of more abuse inside Ridglan Farms. We've published summary of what's happened since this hearing in link below. Thank you for your LOVE and RT's. You're helping save these beagles by amplifying their stories on X. #StopAnimalCruelty #stopanimaltesting

Shared by Rebecca Lynn Hutcheson RN- "Wake up America... just one more Medical Professional putting their life, career and reputation on the line... Published on Jul 1, 2019 Neonatologist Dr. Paul Byrne, president of the Life Guardian Foundation, addresses the 2019 John Paul II Academy for Human Life and Family conference in Rome. May 20, 2019. Hear his voice it can save the life of your loved one... this is a long video, so go to the last 11 minutes and start there ...It is imperative for you to hear all when you have the time... I know this one first hand, a year ago this month my daughter was in ICU on a ventilator unresponsive they said. But she was unresponsive and, why did they have her on a high dose of Fentanyl? They were setting my daughter up for failure and then so she could be an organ donor ..had I not had the medical background that I did and another critical care nurse that I could reach out to they would have been successful and harvesting her organs and my daughter would not be here today... My daughter is the love of my life and it breaks my heart to think about all the families that were convinced that there was nothing left to do and signed those organ harvesting papers. When they kept telling me that my daughter was unresponsive I had to fight with them to pull her off the fentanyl. I told them you cannot possibly determine neuro status with that strong opiate. They told me that it was to keep her comfortable . I said she doesn't need to be kept comfortable if she's comatose she doesn't know anything, take her off the drug. What I was screaming on the inside was not what I could verbalize, I had to be more patient and kind because you can get thrown out of these rooms, yes that is true, they can remove you from your childs side.. So not only am I trying to save my daughter I'm trying to keep my composure , when I know what they are doing is so wrong. Another example of them setting my daughter up for failure is normal platelet count is 150000 to 400,000 my daughter's was 60, 000 that means that she was under normal limits that means that her blood was not clotting and this is why all of her IV sites were bleeding.. The CCU doctors wanted to start her on heparin, Heparin makes the blood thin for somebody who's got thick blood . my daighter was already well below limits and I said absolutely not, she is already thrombocytopenic(low platelets a bleeding disorder) Those 4 doctors come up against me again telling me "this was protocol she'll throw a clot, she could have a stroke." I said "there's no way for her to clot she has no platelets " and then I pointed at the Carousel of drugs they had her on and I said" those will drop her platelet count even lower." I had to sign refusals , this Heparin they wanted to put her on with no clotting factors already could/ would have caused a brain bleed in my child. I know the side effects of these Dangerous Drugs, but how many people do not? how many people do not even know what normal lab values are? without having all of the information and knowing what you need to know how can you make the right decision? It sickens me to the core of my being to know this is happening... If you want to gain some inside knowledge before you're ever put into this position watch this video in in its entirety. It's an hour and 11 minutes long if you don't have time, go to the last 11 minutes. Normally I don't have time to take and spend an hour watching a video because of school and all my other duties in my home with my animals, but when I started watching this video it brought back a lot of what I had to go through , people need to know this information. You have a doctor here trying to do the right thing but even with his background couldn't make things happen in a hospital setting. There's something very criminal taking place in our medical system and we just have to be aware of it."

Pakistani Cartels, Sectarians & Islamists The Lasting Legacy of Labour in Muslim Majority Communities This promotional video demonstrates the attempted open takeover of Oldham. It was shared on Facebook by the Pakistani Muslim political faction who call themselves The Oldham Group. The men running it are connected through the Biraderi clan network. Many have longstanding links to organised crime groups. They no longer need the Labour Party and are now moving to openly seizing control of Oldham Council. Look at that video. Where are the women? Where are the White people? Where are the other minorities? In a town that supposedly values equality and diversity, the political machinery inside Muslim majority wards excludes everyone except one group of men. Women vanish. White working class residents disappear. African Caribbean, Eastern European, South East Asian and Middle Eastern communities are barred from the room. This isn't diversity. It's political segregation controlled by one bloc. The Pakistani bloc. When women disappear from political life, safeguarding collapses. When White residents and other minorities are pushed out, scrutiny dies. That is when grooming gangs thrive, corruption spreads and criminal networks entrench themselves. What's left is a political structure held together by silence, intimidation and loyalty to the group rather than the public. This video isn't just a snapshot. It's a warning. A closed circle claiming ownership over a multiethnic town. This is what happens when Labour allows sectarian power blocs to dominate entire wards without scrutiny or challenge. These are the consequences of decades of vote harvesting, patronage and political cowardice. People ask me how towns like Oldham end up captured by Pakistani sectarians and Islamists. How organised cartels working with corrupt councillors and compromised police officers manage to turn working class communities into personal territories. This is how. A small group builds control, eliminates scrutiny, bars outsiders, and runs the place as if it belongs to them alone. I've spent seven years documenting exactly how it works. Not through rumour but evidence, witness testimony and the lived experience of families abandoned by institutions meant to protect them. For telling the truth I've been arrested, smeared as racist, dragged through courts and targeted by public bodies that preferred comfortable lies over accountability. I'd do it again because what I uncovered frightens them more than any riot ever could. Oldham isn't unique. Across Britain the same pattern repeats. Pakistani and Bangladeshi political blocs. Sectarian enforcers. Islamist influence networks. A layer of so-called community leaders controlling access to funding, favours and political careers. Democracy becomes performance rather than reality. These networks rely on one assumption: that ordinary people will never understand how the system really operates. That no one will question who's missing from the room. That the public will accept managed theatre while power gets captured by a narrow, self-interested circle. They assumed no one was watching. They assumed no one would speak. They were wrong. My work exposes their lies. I follow the money, uncover the cover-ups, show how political patronage, organised crime and religious sectarianism merge into a single machine capable of capturing entire towns. I also give people tools to take their communities back through lawful, strategic, persistent action. This is why they want me silenced. Once people understand the playbook they can't be controlled. Once they see whose voices have been erased they refuse to be silent again. I now travel across the United Kingdom helping communities learn exactly how to do that. You can support this work and defend your own town or watch it slide in the same direction as Oldham. Everything I produce is free. I meet, teach and train at no cost because if this is allowed to continue, then there will be nothing left for any of us. _________ This isn't about politics anymore. It's about preservation of a ruling clique defending its own survival, even if it means abandoning the very people they swore to protect. The nation does not need silence. It needs truth. This is not only a child abuse scandal. It is a crisis of truth, trust and governance in modern Britain. I am Raja Miah. For seven years, I led a small team that exposed how politicians protected the rape gangs. I cannot do this on my own. I need you to stand with me. We’re running out of time.
