These buttons also showed up in my 2016 film HYPER-REALITY, along with framed video calling. I borrowed them from the apple watch UI, so its not really surprising they are part of #VisionPro

Unlimited virtual displays to maximise your productivity? Its been touted as a VR killer app for a long time, so I featured it in my 2017 film #Merger (a story about AI automation and the cult of productivity)

We also prototyped these kinds of tabletop interactions at @ultraleap (2018) - they are tricky to get right but very satisfying if done well.

Also good to see #apple opted for a 'gaze & pinch' interaction model. Its fast, accurate and discreet. Here is a version used to control real lights in the room. I hope #visionpro can integrate with IoT, its really fun and powerful!

I designed an uncannily similar UI to #visionpro in 2021 (check the frame, handle and resize tabs). But I can only share a tiny clip, even though the project is dead 😔

The conclusion of all of this work? I don't think I want the world to be filled with floating rectangles and buttons. So I chose to pursue a radically different vision for XR based on mythology 👻
