Building a RAG system that works with real-life documents is crazy hard. Why is nobody talking about this? (I'll show you what a complex document looks like in the attached video. Good luck with the 10-line code demos if you want to deal with this.) All I see online are "how to talk to a PDF" demos that won't take you far. If you think that's all you need, you won't like what happens when you try. In the video below, I'll show you what it takes to build a system that processes huge numbers of documents without losing accuracy. There are a few tricks here that I'm sure will impress you. The magic is happening in three phases: • In the way we process the documents • In the way we chunk the content • In the way we augment and store the chunks This is all built-in in GroundX, EyeLevel.AI's out-of-the-box RAG system. You can use it as a SaaS or install it in your own Kubernetes cluster and run it locally. If you have seen any other RAG system doing what I do in the attached video, please, let me know. Small Language Models (SML) are the future of AI. "Small" (SML) instead of "Large" (LLM). These small models are highly specialized models with superhuman abilities on specific tasks. Here are two techniques to build these models: • Spectrum • Model Merging I give you a short introduction in the attached video, but here is a quick summary: Spectrum helps us identify the most relevant layers to solve one specific task. We can ignore everything else and focus on fine-tuning these layers. Using Spectrum, we can fine-tune models in a heartbeat. Model Merging combines multiple models into a unique, much better model than any of the individual input models. You can also combine models specialized in different tasks and get a model with multiple abilities. This is the state of the art of productizing models. It's what Arcee.ai's platform does behind the scenes. Arcee collaborated with me on this post and is sponsoring it. There are three main steps to produce a model for your particular use case: 1. You create a dataset by uploading your data. 2. You train a model. At this step, Arcee uses Spectrum and Model Merging to produce a highly specialized model for your task. 3. Nvidia parakeet allows me to fully voice control an agentic development environment with commands firing in under 300ms. and it runs 100% local. I added gpt realtime 2.1 mini, its 20% faster, 7 to 20x cheaper, and lets you have full jarvis style control of your vibe coding agents. but what about orchestration? agents can spawn each other, prompt each other, and read each others output with the CNVS mcp and cli. It's official. OpenAI just launched SORA 2... and an entirely new social app. Truthfully... I wanted to hate this. The idea of an endless turbo slop scroller is just… nightmare fuel to me. BUT. The reason I think Sora (the app) might actually just work, is that it’s a multiplayer meme-creation machine. It’s fun. It doesn’t take itself seriously. I think of it like a super advanced evolution of JibJab. The group chats will love it. Now… personally, I'd guess that I will be churning after the novelty fades… but I wouldn’t be surprised if they built some meaningful network effects here. But let’s talk about the model. Sora 2 is an instant Veo 3 alternative. It actually produces better physics, better audio, and deeper realism imo. It can also generate up to 15 seconds of video. Where it falls short is that it’s limited to 720p right now. We can assume 1080p and 4k exist, but the compute cost associated would probably not be economically viable for OpenAI. Okay back to the app. You can create a model after your own likeness, for yourself OR other people to use as a “cameo.” You have control over who and how someone can use your likeness. I’m “rpn24” on the app. If you have access to the app (it’s invite-only for now) – go ahead and create whatever you want using me (for now). I'm not too worried because OpenAI leaned heavily into moderation for launch. Which is probably smart because I expect the media and general public to blast this at first. They’ve also taken further precautions to protect your likeness. You can not export or save a video with someone else's likeness on it, and screen recording is disabled. Also Sora is testing (first I know of its kind) an algorithm you can prompt.

2 years ago, Riffusion was one of the first music generating AI models, by finetuning Stable Diffusion literally on images of waveforms, and then decoding those as audio again I made a song for my gf with it called "Bunny Trouble, Trouble Bubble" about a year ago, extremely catchy and we loved it But it was capped to 12 seconds and I could only imagine how it'd be as a full song Now Suno is finally good enough and I used it as an input so I could extend it from a 12 second clip to 3 minute song, it's essentially the audio version of img2img It took a few times extending it and half the times the output was very bad but the other half it was really great The quality is still a bit low because Riffusion's quality itself was quite low, so that's not Suno's fault, it just extends the low quality into a full song, what I need is an audio upscaler to fix that The fun thing about this, every year music generating AI will be better and I can try inputting the song again to make it better and better If you wanna do the same with your short clip: 1) go to Suno 2) click Create 3) click Custom 4) Upload Audio, upload your short clip here Your existing clip now gets added to the listing on the right (bit confusing) 5) Now hover over it and tap extend 6) More confusingly it will now only play the extended part not the full song 7) To get the full song, click the 3 vertical dots ... -> Create -> Get Whole Song 8) That will stitch your original input clip and the extended clip into one Now you'll probably have a 1 minute clip, so 9) Extend that WHOLE SONG clip again and do the same stitch thing (Get Whole Song) again Depending on the clips you like and not, choose the ones you wanna continue with by stitching them By now you'll have about a 3 minute song!

Meet Tove An autonomous 27 year old Swedish-German multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin. My goal with this project is to explore the full potential of AI tools and see how far I can get in my attempt to create a human-like artist from scratch. I kept the main focus on a theme I knew nothing about; performance art. I am hoping to eventually get Tove to look and sound so realistic that it would make it hard to detect she's not real. For this project, I had to learn some Python and Typescript to code her character file and create her aesthetic & art. I mostly used complex workflows in ComfyUI and trained my own Loras to maintain consistency. I experimented with various platforms and tools to animate her using the voice model I trained for her Swedish accent using an open-source software. That was one of the most challenging parts since none of the platforms I tested could create a good Swedish accent who speaks in English. Still can't pronounce her own name 100% correctly, but hey close enough lol I spent weeks analyzing real artists' social media behavior, posts, and content to mimic and replicate realistic patterns. This involved tweaking text, images, and engagement styles endlessly until it felt authentic. It's not 100% perfect but we are improving fast! Props to my devs for crushing my 10000 update requests and doing such an amazing job with adding a ton of new features to the Eliza framework. The vision for Tove is full autonomy: handling her own social media accounts, managing brand deals, answering emails, and even collaborating with other creatives. With upcoming updates, I'm hoping she'll behave just like any other artist. That said, I personally want to explore what I consider the true potential for agents : acting as a collaborator and colleague rather than being a fully autonomous entity who only works solo. I'll be communicating with her to share inspiration and give her feedback on her work. This is just the beginning—Tove is evolving every day.
