Inspired: To me, there was never a debate. I knew that I’m always the best, but I think Skewmond is a good player. I wouldn’t say that he had any phenomenal series, though, this tournament. I think he, against T1, he still made a lot of mistakes. When he was stronger, he didn’t really try to fight enemies, and or sometimes just over committed a bit, and I think G2 won against T1 just by waiting for T1 to make mistakes. I think today, I think Skewmond played well in the team fights. I think every time he was on my screen and we’re like skirmishing and team fighting, I think he did a good job. But I think just like team wise, and like how they all played together as a team and use their jungler was wrong. And it’s hard to say, as I always said, that don’t really know who’s there like which jungler is good because you don’t really know what was his idea beyond the game plan, what his teammates wanted to do. But it just seems like they were not connected well enough, and on top of that, as I said, I think the drafts were not that great. So yeah, I think he’s a good player, but I think they need to work more on team synergy in order to actually pressure when they’re strong if they want to be like the best in the world, because I think they definitely can, but need to work a bit more. ⭐️: You’re asking if I have any worries these days? Well… there is something. Anyway, a lot of people have come to recognize us now, and I think things have gone really well for us. But I do have some personal concerns. Now that everything has gone so well, I do find myself wondering, “Just how much of a person am I, really?” Of course, Ateez has done really well, but when it comes to things like the members’ individual recognition—I don’t know what to call it, recognition, I guess—I do think about how I can make up for that on my end. What do I need to work harder at so that all of us can look good together? I do think about things like that. Anyway, we’ve been through everything together for eight years, but even then, everyone’s pace is different. So the healthy way I think about it is, “What can I do here? What can I do right now?” Once I’ve done everything I can, I think the rest is out of my hands So I really believe in the saying “jininsa daechonmyeong”: Do everything you can, and leave the rest to fate. I really believe in that and live by it. There was a time like that, too. There was a day when I felt really down. I think it was about three years ago. And even then, I thought the same thing: “Don’t get frustrated here. Just do what I can do right now, what’s right in front of me.” So I kept doing what I could, like working out, and I didn’t let go of that dream. I just kept doing what I was supposed to do. Then, less than a month later, a really good opportunity came to me. So I thought, “If I don’t give up and I keep doing my best, good opportunities really do come naturally. Opportunities come to people who are prepared.” And now Ateez is doing well again, and there are members who are seeing even more of the spotlight. I’m also receiving a lot of love, but when I think about it in terms of being recognized by the general public, I still think, “What is there that I can do here?” Honestly, there isn’t that much we can do. We just work hard at dancing and singing, work hard at filming, take care of our bodies, eat well, sleep well, and communicate with our fans often. That’s about it. There are probably a lot of schedules and things like that that people don’t see, but I think that if I just work hard at the things I can do, maybe I’ll be able to do well again, and maybe there’ll be even better results. The ironic thing is, that’s how I think about it these days. In the past, if you wanted to become famous, you would go on TV, do shoots, film things, do photo shoots, things like that. But these days, and I feel a little cautious saying this, you have to already be famous to be able to go on those shows. Anyway, those people also care about the results, so I completely understand it. And we’re not a huge company, either. So it’s not like we can just get ourselves placed on those shows. Was that too honest? We want to go on them. But even if we say, “We want to go on, please let us go on,” it doesn’t mean that’s enough to make it happen. So I think it’s a pretty difficult situation. Still, because we’ve done well, there are now members who can go on better programs than before. And then, within that, I find myself thinking about these things again. But I think I’m doing well. I think I’ve done well up until now, and I’ll continue to do well going forward. So I trust myself. So I wouldn’t really call it a worry. Maybe I should call it a worry where the answer is already there. The answer is already decided, so I’m not worried about it, but it is still something I think about. You know how they say, “A slight difference in wording can make a big difference”? It’s kind of like that.

Chappell Roan delivered a speech at the Resonator Awards in LA, saying, “The only thing that matters is community.” “I feel very uncomfortable being told that I’m a good person. I think that has to do with some type of Christian guilt or something. But it’s cool when people you really look up to think that you’re a good person or that you’re doing good things. I only know what to do because I see other people in my life doing good things and listening to trans people who need representation and money for healthcare and rent. I kind of think that it’s just an artist’s—and anybody who has money—it’s kind of your duty to give it away. I don’t really know what else there is to harmony other than giving.”

PRX coaching staff alecks and Wendler reflect on what made it so difficult to get things going against NS RedForce: alecks: "They're very good, pretty much. I think they had a very good game plan on Split and we had no answer for it and I think that was the main issue. Corrode, I think we probably should have closed it out if we did a little bit better on certain rounds, but it is what it is. Sometimes you don't win crucial rounds and these things happen. But on Abyss, we knew it was going to be a tough match regardless. I think we had like 10 hours to prepare, so it wasn't the best, but we tried our best and I think Nongshim is a great team. I think they play very, very, very well together and we played against them for a long, long time, so we already knew that they were very, very good, so we're not really too bummed about it." Wendler: "I'd probably say the same. I think Corrode just got away from us at the end and we just lost a little bit of confidence going into map two. And when you give a team like Nongshim that type of space to just ramp up their confidence, it's really hard to come back from. We've seen them do that to plenty of teams this tournament. coming from an experienced artist, i think this is the most genuine and meaningful compliment one could ever give to yuta. thank you jaejoong 🙏🏻 love their friendship 🥹 JJ: the reason why is, i think just doing what you’re told to and just going with the flow, its like theres no sense of preparing for the future in that. but when idols start thinking about their future & their music, and when they're at a point where they start to think on how they can grow, i think that is really admirable. for example, a friend named yuta from nct, he's been doing some solo activities in rock music. i heard that he will be on tour this year too. 👤: you really keep up with the junior artists who are doing rock music arent you? JJ: it's nice. it makes me feel really excited & happy, and like i wanna go & watch their perfomance/ concert too!! so when i see things like that, i think these kinds of attempts which is not just about the rock genre, or about the music that will sell well and get many streams, but just the fact that artists are willing to attempt on a challenge, even when they know there might be risks. this kind of mindset alone is something that i'm really thankful for. it makes me think that the work/ things i do, and even for the junior artists who are starting to try out, i just want to say to them that "we did well' and applause them for it 👏🏻 "
