This remake caught some heat for “soft censorship” — Mayu now wears bike shorts under her skirt (original PS2 version showed panties on certain angles) and a few bikini/gothic costumes got dropped. Koei Tecmo calls it “texture upgrades” for modern graphics, not cuts... lool

The game is freaking amazing!!!!! 10/10 from me. It will be even better once it gets the PSSR magic touch! Bring it!

PS2 original already made grainy fog and low‑res ghosts terrifying; seeing Fatal Frame II rebuilt on PS5 with modern lighting, detail, and camera effects is so cool.

Why didn’t the make the first one before this one? Or did I miss the first one being remade? lol

Careful use of the word 'updates' rather than 'upgrades'.
