Don’t have to deal with phone scams if you never answer the phone.

Also, never volunteer or divulge personal information. The girl was caught off guard, but never correct someone like she did and provide your correct address, etc. They may also trick you into providing information they need to complete a scam.

This happened to my daughter in Houston last week. She immediately called me and a friend who is an attorney so she wasn’t duped by this man. She did say he spoke very authoritative like a cop would which worried her at first

So I saw my sister's number on my cell phone caller id. I answered it & it was not my sister, but some Indian dude Telling me he had kidnapped my sister & wanted me to send him Bitcoin I acted dumb like I did not know who he was talking about & did not have a sister He hung up

This happened to me too in my state. I told him I think he was a scammer. And he called back again from my local Sheriffs office phone number. FYI They can also spoof telephone numbers. I had a friend call the sheriff. He said they NEVER call you and inform you over the phone

They should not stay at that address, I wouldn't take the chance Parents we have to do better preparing our kids for the world, I know many thought school did that, turns out they absolutely don't. Not this education system

everybody in the US had their data "dumped" out not long ago in a data breech

I had a man call me about a year ago, ask for me by name told who he was but I forgot from the IRS, and after he spoke like I owed money ,I said I owe you money ,he said yes, I said get it from someone else lol and hung up. Heard no more from him

He's after the children.
