@Kristine_Froeba Y’all can’t control the crime now, as if these rules are gonna make any difference w/concealed carry I grew up in New Orleans and was held up at gunpoint in front of my dad’s house on Dante a few yrs ago. Now I’m frightened about visiting and especially going down to the Quarter

Two things. First you can carry in some establishments that serve alcohol such as a restaurant. It depends on the class license the establishments has. Next while not required I would recommend anyone carrying train with the weapon and know the law such as RS 14:20.
