PSA: The kids are using punctuation DIFFERENT!!

i’m a millennial, and i knew this 😂 but i can’t read a text without some sort of punctuation. you can leave a period off, but i need EVERYTHING ELSE lol

When I talk to her now I be back spacing like a mug. 😂😂😂

I’m not letting these kids change the meaning of grammar. I’ll pass on being hip.

Yeah. Sorry, I’m going to continue to use correct punctuation even if it hurts their feelings. PERIOD. 😂😭

Hold up! So they infer some kinda emotion from a period at the end of a sentence?!

Imma use all of the punctuation as I learned in school in 1970. .

I tell my nieces and nephews to get over it and realize the corporate world will throw your preferences in the trash just like I will. Take these correct punctuations and LEARN GRAMMAR

It’s because these kids are so used to run-on-sentences, seeing actual punctuation scrambles their brains. 😂🤭

Being an editor, I’ll never use run-on sentences when I text. I’m always going to use a period. And don’t let me f*ck you up by using the ellipses…or as some people like to refer to them as “three dots”. 🤣
