How’s that any different from alcohol? (Besides the fact that alcohol is legal, and, by any measure, riskier than psychedelics?)

They do have minor risks, and great benefits. Most risks can be eliminated by proper education and safe supply. I support the work you guys do 100%, but I also support legalization and a regulated market for adults, stat.

Psychedelics are partial serotonin receptor agonists that neuromodulate excitatory (and anxiety-inducing) glutamate (the most abundant neurotransmitter in the brain; inhibitory GABA being the second). GABA cofactors such as Mg, pre-/pro- biotics can metabolise glutamate to GABA.
