There is no such thing as “public dollars”, there are tax dollars, extorted from the people who pay them, and those dollars should be made available to help the people who pay them, this includes school choice parents.

this you?

"Public" dollars that can be used at private institutions: • Pell Grants • GI Bill • Pre-K • Head Start • Food stamps • WIC • Medicaid • Medicare • Section 8 • Social Security

You sent your kids to private school. Hypocrite.

You celebrated more public dollars going to private schools for college. Why the inconsistency? Teachers unions.

@piper4missouri — did you see this?

For all those advocating vouchers to make it easier for wealthy people to send their kids to expensive religious schools who claim they “want to help the poor”: How about if you can only get vouchers if your family income is less than 125% over the poverty level.

Nice try Andy but funding is not the issue. Maladministration and corruption is the problem. School choice works. It weeds out the garbage.

Education dollars are for education, not teacher's unions.

Why do you want to keep poor kids trapped in failing government schools? Is it because teacher's unions give you lots of campaign money and votes? Fund students not systems.
