Pull type sprayer in a big flowering canola crop 🤔

German farmer here. Pull type is the norm here. Never had any issues in canola. We slow down and go late in the evening when the crop is soft and bends. Almost no visible damage, just loss of flowers, no reduced yield in tramlines.

Would the tractor no knock the flowers off the plant?

Ya you would think so. Doesn’t look terrible behind it though. The sprayer has no sharp edges and smooth pans underneath to protect the plants.

How do you protect bees, incendiary insects when during the daytime they are active?

In UE u will go to jail for spraying canola in daytime.
