Pumping billions into dangerous & ineffective carbon capture tech is letting the fossil fuel lobby off the hook – we should be insulating homes , installing heat pumps and transitioning to EVs , not letting big industry skirt round the real solutions to hit net zero . . .

Hey ecoloon I have a 150 year old house that can’t have a heat pump. I can’t have an EV because I have no off street parking Go smoke some more joints

Carbon capture is fantasy and just confirms how barking mad Ed Miliband and his climate loons are

If you are serious you need to promote nuclear, EV s run on elec generated by gas or coal

Now that hydrogen for home heating has been seen off, it looks like CCS is the next FF scam that needs to be debunked. Meanwhile, the clock keeps ticking...

Best you stick to explaining to children why animals hibernate etc.

Thank you, Chris, for sharing this vital message on #CCS My court case against a NEW gas plant using fossil fuels with carbon capture goes to the Court of Appeal on March 4th/5th 2025, and in the meantime the Govt can't invest in this suicide-by-methane-planet-heating technology 👇 @ChrisGPackham

I agree. In addition to what you mentioned, wind power, and solar when possible are the way to go. The oil and gas companies are wasting our money just to prop up their dying industries.

How does CO2 affect the atmosphere? See below.

My letter in Sunday @Telegraph today "Claire Coutinho has recently revealed that she made the wrong decision on burning wood at Drax. Mr Miliband must review the science first, and not fall into the same error on blue hydrogen" Read the TWO scientists letters 1️⃣ 2️⃣ And read this brilliant briefing from @MPWatchNetwork👉

Every ton of lithium mined pumps 15 tons of C02 into the atmosphere. Not exactly green, is it 🤔
