Punch is really smart. He has learnt from yesterday. Today (8 March) when Akira, the boss/leader of the group walked, followed by all the monkeys walked in line behind, Punch cleverly hid behind the rock with his plush toy until all the troop's gone 😊👍. 🎥: cocolulu_rabbit

Then when the baby walked away and Atomaru came, Punch pretended to bite the branch as if he had been playing with the branch all along, so that he wouldn't get scolded. After the incident, Punch went back to separate his plush toy from the others. It looked like he was trying to keep it safe, because he doesn't like when other monkeys touch it. Shikano even seemed a little upset about what had happened. But while Punch was heading upstairs with his plush toy, another monkey suddenly attacked him.

Some people were wondering where Punch plush toy was. It is always there inside the cave. He brought the plush toy out again yesterday before feeding time because he was scared. Thankfully Shikano was aware he was inside the cave & Miyakoshi also knows now when Punch brings the toy out during feeding time, that means he's scared. And he directly brought Punch inside without trying to put him down ❤️. By the way, Punch was okay. No need to worry. 🎥: Connect Japan

Even Sotomaru, Akira, and Atomaru can't seem to be harsh with Punch, which always amazes me. They're often strict with other monkeys—Akira even scolded a new baby recently for disturbing his sleep. 😒 Punch definitely expects extra pampering from everyone. He needs that "Daddy's little prince" kind of treatment. 😄😄 He really wants to be the troop's little prince. 👑😄😄😄 Totally a spoiled baby Punch🍼. wishing May he get all the love and affection he wishes for. #punch #punchmonkey

Looks like the same monkey who attacked Punch yesterday. Punchi walked past the big monkey. The big one tried to scare him a little. But Little Fatty stayed calm and just looked at him. Then the big monkey walked away by himself. He is learning how to face scary moments in the monkey group. Sometimes other monkeys might push him, but he never runs away. Regarding "the video of Punch gets dragged around" that appeared to have been recorded yesterday, February 19. This is a statement from the zookeepers at the Ichikawa City Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Fabruary 20. We have confirmed that several videos have gone viral on the internet. When Punch approached another baby monkey from the troop in attempt to communicate, the baby monkey avoided him. Punch then sat down, apparently giving up on communicating with the monkey, after which he was scolded and dragged by an adult monkey. The adult monkey that dragged Punch is probably the mother of the monkey with whom Punch tried to communicate. She probably felt that her baby was annoyed by Punch and got upset, expressing "don't be mean." Punch has been scolded by other monkeys many times in the past and has learned how to socialize with them. In the video, Punch runs to his stuffed orangutan toy after being dragged. However, as usual, he left the stuffed toy after a short while and was communicating with other monkeys. The video was probably recorded on the morning of February 19. During feeding time at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m., Punch acted no differently than on any other day. In order to integrate Punch into other Japanese monkey troops, we anticipated that this kind of challenge may arise. Although Punch has been scolded many times by other monkeys, no single monkey has shown serious aggression toward him. While Punch is scolded, he shows resilience and mental strength. July 2 🐵🍌 Punch Kun was called by his name from inside the room to come eat food in the backyard. All the other monkeys got scared and ran out in panic. But only Punch went inside calmly when his name was called. This clearly shows Punch understands his name being called.

Little guy still needs to get stronger 💪😂
