Loved The Animals back in the day. Eric’s vocals are amazing.

This song as performed by The Animals injected depth and darkness at a time when pop radio was just feel good Brit invasion stuff. Elvis did the same thing with Heartbreak Hotel in the middle of the previous decade. So great!
