@5am1am_6 @BamaChi70040414 Some friends of mine made their own. They move theirs by hand. Whatever works!

@5am1am_6 It's called a chicken tractor. Just on larger scale.

@5am1am_6 Someone's definition of Free Range

@5am1am_6 Absolutely, and they fertilize the ground at every stop. By the time they make it back to the same patch of grass, it is BETTER than when they left it last.

@5am1am_6 @SecKennedy, @SecRollins, I know this isn’t anything new, but perhaps there could be grants for healthy, innovative designs like this for our American farmers.

@5am1am_6 Need to tip your hat to @JoelSalatin

@5am1am_6 I was in 4H and FFA. (Yea, nerd. I get it.) The BEST eggs you are going to get is when chickens are eating bugs. Yolks almost orange in color and perfect shells. (We would give them sea shells to peck at if the shells got weak.) Brilliant.

@5am1am_6 This is winning. The birds also give a nice nitrogen burst every time they poop.

It does, though, require more land. Pasture/mobile can be profitable but niche: Despite 29% lower yields, regenerative systems can see 78% higher profits via premium pricing and reduced inputs over time. Farms like Pasturebird scale to thousands of birds by using mobile tech, but going industrial-sized (millions) would require massive land (e.g., 10,000+ acres), limiting it to specific regions. Globally, a full switch isn't realistic without reduced meat consumption, as it could strain land resources and raise prices.

@5am1am_6 This is called a chicken tractor, and is not a new idea.

@5am1am_6 This is what you expect in the 21 century. Instead you have governments destroying farmers . The land , spraying chemicals.Chem-trails. Culling and poisoning livestock. Then blaming the environment + climate change.

@5am1am_6 Now this is pretty cool! 👍 But the birds don’t get sun light and never feel rain? I’m sold but I’d eliminate part of the roof.

@5am1am_6 .@FreaKnLinkin ☝️👀 Mobile home for the hot chicks 😎 Wen Hen rolling home @_HenHouseNFT 🥚?

@5am1am_6 That's one giant chicken tractor. One way to pasture raise them and keep them safer from predators.

@5am1am_6 Poor animals but still tasty as fok!

@5am1am_6 This is what Thomas Massie is good at. If this isn’t his patented idea, it should have been. He is lacking as a politician, but he has a great brain for stuff like this, made one of these a while back. Even the most brilliant people cannot usually be—like Elon—good at everything.

@5am1am_6 I love this! Genius indeed

@5am1am_6 Regenerative Agriculture!

@5am1am_6 This would be great on a sod farm. Killing two ‘birds’ with one stone.

@5am1am_6 I've seen this used on an Amish farm.

@5am1am_6 i bet they taste delicious

@5am1am_6 Chicken tractor at scale. Good idea.

@5am1am_6 Brilliant...now if we could only do something about the sunlight. Whatever it is they are spraying us with those chickens are injesting it. Sorry to say! @danewigington 👀 Be safe out there 🙏

@5am1am_6 @RWB_American Amazing human ingenuity. Yay for the chickens. Three chicken farms (Tyson) owned, have had to shut down over the past two months. Bird flu got them. I believe they will not be operational for five years. The air quality in this area is great again.

@5am1am_6 @grok is this true ?

@5am1am_6 great idea 👌🍀

@5am1am_6 A grasshopper farm in China produces hundreds of thousands of grasshoppers every year.

@5am1am_6 Giant Chicken tractor. I made mine 8X8 ft and moved it by hand. Raised 25 broilers from mail ordered chicks. Harvest in 8 weeks.

@5am1am_6 Brilliant!

@5am1am_6 Exactly what I plan on introducing on my near future farm. Bringing technology and efficiency to the industry

@5am1am_6 Amazing 😊

@5am1am_6 What a genius way to raise chickens 🐔

@5am1am_6 @lisachristinect @RepThomasMassie has been doing this for a long time, sans the solar I think

Imagine a world where every dawn brings renewal, not just for the land but for the creatures that sustain us, powered by the endless dance of the sun. What starts as a simple shift in design sparks a revolution, proving that harmony between human ingenuity and nature's rhythm can feed generations without scarring the earth. This breakthrough isn't just efficient; it's a beacon, showing how bold steps today craft tomorrow's abundance, urging us all to rethink what progress truly means.

@5am1am_6 Joel Salatin's "Pastured Poultry Profits" (1996) in action. We did the same thing on a smaller scale (100 - 200 chickens per year) in the early 2000's on less than 1 acre of pasture.
