That’s purgatory in essence. Not punishment. Not a second chance. Just God finishing what He began in us. (Phil 1:6) If you deny this, you’re left with only two options: ❌ Sinful souls enter Heaven (unbiblical), or ❌ Christians die fully sanctified (also unbiblical). How does Purgatory work during the Lord’s Day of Judgement? For those that are still alive and do not see death? Do they not see Purgatory? It seems Steven didn’t see it either after his stoning either he saw Jesus. I just don’t understand this doctrine.
