These comments are pretty rich, coming from Hagel. Listen, I don’t want the guy to have lasting brain damage, but he absolutely absolves himself. He needs to look in the mirror. Also, the concussion likely came from hitting the ice, not from Ekblad’s forearm hitting his mandible.

🔥This intrigues me..given the possibility that he might still be on the run if his father didn’t turn him in. I wonder if the father only turned him in when & if he discovered his son used his rifle and didn’t want to go to jail. If it was his father’s gun he would have noticed it was MISSING and likely once he saw the PHOTO OF THE GUN & HIS SON KNEW it was him. Wouldn’t the son KNOW his father was going to notice it missing? If that’s the case wouldn’t he know it would be discovered eventually and shown on TV and his father would have recognized it? So then if this was so well thought out wouldn’t the kid ABSOLUTELY TAKE THE GUN WITH HIM to ensure that doesn’t happen because not doing so means you are going to be caught at bare minimum by your father? Lastly the Mauser looks to be from the 1950’s or 1960’s . That means it may not have a Serial number because the law wasn’t passed til 1968. Older fathers that are aficionados like to collect vintage guns. My real two questions are if it IS NOT HIS FATHERS GUN WHOSE IT ? And why didn’t he take it with him? This woman is being roasted for the idea that if she’s asked out on a date, that it’s the man’s job to pay for her food. If he asks her out for drinks and she goes, is he automatically responsible for feeding her as well? Is it the idea of spending her own money that she’s opposed to? Even if he just wants drinks and conversation, would it be that bad for her to pay for a snack, she could even extend it further by offering to buy him something to eat too, that would make for a good impression.
