24 hours ago, she had no idea her life was about to change forever, from living on the streets to finding a loving home. ❤️🐾 Her purring tells me she’s happy. This is the first rescue I’ve ever had who let me hold her so soon. She’s still a little scared, so I’m keeping her separated from my other cats while she adjusts. She hisses every time I approach… and then, two seconds later, she’s chill as a cucumber. 😂❤️ She’s already showing me that she knows she’s safe.

Cats purr at around 25–50 Hz. The same frequency range used in medicine to support bone healing. Purring isn’t just when they feel good or are being petted. Cats purr when they’re injured too. Same frequency - higher intensity. This range has been used in orthopedics for decades: faster bone repair, muscle recovery, reduced inflammation. Cats rarely suffer from joint issues. Their bodies use vibration as a built-in recovery system. And it affects humans too. Studies suggest cat owners have lower rates of heart disease. It’s more than a sound. It’s a form of sound healing happening right next to you. ✨🙌🏾💫

thinking about the fact lydia has probably never had a real friend in her life. she’s kept her distance and emotions in check, the way she’s been taught, and the only person she’s ever actually counted on is james. and now she has people who love her. 🥹
