This was an unbeliveble great movie, 99% Shrek 5 will not be good as this. This was pure creativity and writing talent.

One of my favorite things about this scene is when Puss’s life flashes before his eyes, one of the moments he see’s that he obviously holds close to him is his time with Shrek and Donkey 🥹

People who say "Death is just doing his job" makes me think we didn't watch the same film. Since Death made his first appearance, he has been maliciously tormenting Puss. The Cave of Lost Souls scene literally tells us that he's going against his role as Death to Kill Puss.
