🇷🇺🇺🇸🇨🇳 Putin says Russia has major development projects underway with China, but Moscow has no objection to Beijing improving relations with Washington. “𝘈𝘯𝘺 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘜.𝘚., 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦.” Nice idea that partnership does not require permanent hostility toward everybody else. Putin just said he welcomes a US-China deal. That is leverage talking. Xi is at the White House this week and Moscow is already adjusting. Strength moves the board. The experts called it impossible.

He’s saying China can talk to America. Russia just doesn’t want to get left out That’s the whole sentence.

🇺🇸🇷🇺 KASPAROV SAYS TRUMP GAVE PUTIN THE CONDITIONS, BUT NOT THE VICTORY "Trump must feel offended: I did everything, so why can’t Putin win? All the conditions were ready. But Putin has not won and the war is moving in the wrong direction for Moscow. Russia has no serious breakthrough potential." - Garry Kasparov 🇷🇺 That is the brutal part for Moscow. Even with political chaos in Washington. Even with pressure on Ukraine. Even with Western hesitation. Putin still cannot turn this war into the victory he promised. Trump may have opened doors for him, but Ukraine keeps slamming them shut on the battlefield.

BIG | 🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦‼️‼️ Trump says Washington now has a concrete idea for ending the Russia-Ukraine war, but argues that the personal hostility between Zelensky and Putin has become an additional obstacle to turning diplomacy into an actual agreement. The U.S. president said Zelensky and Putin “really hate each other” and claimed that this deep personal hostility is complicating negotiations. Trump also praised Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner as strong negotiators and said he sent them to test whether a breakthrough is still possible. Their renewed mission comes as Washington prepares fresh contacts with both Moscow and Kyiv, although major disputes remain unresolved over territory, security guarantees and Ukraine’s future relationship with NATO. The problem is that personal animosity is only a small part of what is blocking peace. Russia continues demanding concessions Kyiv considers unacceptable, while Moscow has simultaneously intensified strikes on Ukraine even as diplomacy resumes. Trump may genuinely see an opening, but any durable settlement will depend less on chemistry between leaders and more on whether Washington is prepared to increase pressure on the Kremlin when negotiations stall, while ensuring Ukraine is not pushed into accepting terms that merely reward Russian aggression. BIG | 🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦‼️‼️ Francis Fukuyama is challenging the idea that Donald Trump has fundamentally shifted toward Ukraine, arguing that his sympathy toward Moscow is not a recent phenomenon but a political instinct stretching back decades. The Stanford political scientist recalled Trump’s 1980s visit to Moscow and his subsequent newspaper advertisements arguing that NATO allies were exploiting the United States and that Washington should stop carrying such a large share of the alliance’s costs. Fukuyama argues that Trump maintained first a pro-Soviet and later a consistently Russia-friendly outlook for decades. In his assessment, Trump’s current frustration with Moscow does not mean he has become more sympathetic toward Ukraine; rather, he expected Russia to prevail and is irritated that neither Moscow’s battlefield performance nor his diplomatic efforts have produced the settlement he anticipated. That distinction matters enormously for Ukraine. Trump may become angry with Putin when Moscow obstructs his negotiations, but temporary frustration is not the same as a strategic shift toward Kyiv. Russia is still intensifying the war while demanding concessions Ukraine considers unacceptable, and Washington’s repeated search for a deal without consistently raising the cost of Russian aggression risks convincing the Kremlin that patience will eventually pay. A genuinely pro-American strategy would strengthen Ukraine enough that Putin has more to lose by continuing the war than by ending it. See the latest updates with us: Visioner

BREAKING | 🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦‼️‼️ CIA Director John Ratcliffe’s extraordinary mission to Moscow appears to have backfired, with Vladimir Putin reportedly reading Washington’s attempt to push him toward negotiations not as pressure, but as weakness. According to The Washington Post, Ratcliffe warned Russian intelligence officials that Moscow’s military and economic position would continue to deteriorate if the war dragged on and urged a return to negotiations. Instead, people familiar with the discussions say Putin emerged more determined to pursue a military victory. In the roughly 10 days since the visit, Russia has intensified its jet-powered drone and missile campaign against Ukraine, while Putin has publicly projected confidence that Kyiv can eventually be forced into concessions. The episode exposes a serious weakness in Trump’s current approach to Moscow. Diplomacy without credible consequences can reinforce the Kremlin’s belief that time is on Russia’s side, especially when Putin interprets high-level outreach as evidence that Washington wants a deal more urgently than he does. If the U.S. genuinely wants negotiations to succeed, it must pair them with stronger military support for Ukraine, deeper economic pressure on Russia and a clear cost for continued escalation. Otherwise, Moscow has little incentive to compromise while it still believes more violence can improve its negotiating position. See the latest updates with us: Visioner

🇷🇺☢️🇺🇦 Concern inside Russia’s own establishment over the possibility that Vladimir Putin could resort to a tactical nuclear weapon is reportedly growing, as the Kremlin searches for ways to change the trajectory of the war. According to Bloomberg, an increasing number of Russian officials and people familiar with discussions inside the Kremlin believe the possibility of Putin considering tactical nuclear use can no longer be completely dismissed. The concern reflects the enormous military and political stakes Moscow now faces in Ukraine and the growing uncertainty surrounding how far the Kremlin could escalate if conventional options fail to deliver its objectives. Russia’s key international partners are also deeply opposed to such a scenario. China and India have warned Moscow against nuclear escalation, with Beijing repeatedly communicating that Russia should not even consider employing nuclear weapons against Ukraine. China has continued publicly emphasizing its opposition to nuclear use and escalation. The political consequences for Moscow would be enormous. Crossing the nuclear threshold would risk destroying much of the diplomatic space Russia still retains with countries such as China and India, while radically escalating its confrontation with Ukraine and the West. That helps explain why pressure from Beijing and New Delhi matters: for Putin, nuclear escalation would not simply represent another military step, but potentially a fundamental rupture with partners Russia increasingly depends upon.

🇫🇮 🇷🇺 Finland's president says economic pain will not end Russia's war Alexander Stubb, whose country shares 830 miles of border with Russia, told BILD he does not believe an economic downturn will stop Moscow, even though one is visibly underway: "Never underestimate the capacity of Russians' ability to go through hard economic times. You only have to go back to the Soviet period to understand that." Somebody should carry that observation across the map. Washington has bet its entire Iran strategy on the opposite proposition, with Bessent promising the greatest financial offensive ever mounted against an adversary. Tehran answered by rationing power and hard currency and pushing the pain onto households, which is the same playbook Stubb is describing. Writer: Daniel

BIG | 🇨🇳🇺🇦🇷🇺‼️‼️ China was concerned enough about Ukraine’s expanding ability to reach deep inside Russia that Beijing formally asked Kyiv not to strike Vladivostok while one of China’s most senior officials was visiting the city. According to Kyodo News, Beijing asked Ukraine to refrain from attacks on Vladivostok while Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang and his delegation attended the four-day Eastern Economic Forum. Ukraine agreed to the temporary restriction. Vladivostok lies more than 6,500 kilometers from Ukraine, but Beijing was concerned about the possibility of an operation resembling Ukraine’s 2025 Operation Spiderweb, which demonstrated Kyiv’s ability to conduct attacks thousands of kilometers beyond the conventional front line. The request itself illustrates how dramatically Russia’s strategic depth has eroded. Ukraine no longer needs every target to sit within the conventional range of a drone launched from Ukrainian territory to create uncertainty deep inside Russia, and even Beijing is now accounting for that reality when senior officials travel there. Kyiv’s willingness to accommodate the Chinese delegation also shows that Ukraine can combine expanding military reach with selective diplomatic restraint, an increasingly useful distinction as it seeks both to pressure Moscow and preserve relationships with major powers outside the Western alliance. VIDEO | Saint Petersburg, Russia: When asked about the relations between India-China-Pakistan, Russian President Vladimir Putin told PTI CEO and Editor-in-Chief Vijay Joshi: "Of course, we are well aware of the intricacies of the issues concerning the border between India and Pakistan, you said that Pakistan is a country that is fully under the control of China, I don't think so, first and foremost, Pakistan is a large country, it has multi-faceted ties with different countries, of course, for Pakistan, it is very important to take into account the cooperation with the Republic of China, but everyone is developing the relations with China... India ranks third, Russia ranks fourth in terms of its GDP... China, US, India, and Russia that's the top four countries... These are delicate, multi-faceted relations between India and China, and interfering into them is not a good idea. Of course, we interact with our friends in both India and China... President Xi and PM Modi are both trying to resolve all the issues of mutual interest, including the relations on the border... As for Russia, we have our own relations with China, with India, no one is holding grudges, for decades we have been establishing this relations, it was happening naturally, relations between Russia and India do not disturb China, our relations with China do not disturb India... This linkage helps everyone... At one point, I suggested that leaders of India, China meet here, that's how Russia-India-China was established. We had things to talk about, to agree upon, we started doing later on, then we were joined by Brazil, because Brazil wanted to take part... South Africa joined with BRICS, we continue to expand, when we meet, we talk, we come to an agreement. We don't have any issues in cooperation either with India or China, we know that we have multi-faceted cooperation, we cooperate with India in terms of armaments... both land and sea-based BrahMos missiles... We proposed our Indian friends to work together on technology, the fifth generation technology. But Indian friends said do it on your own and we will join, we are ready to work with India in this field to supply aircraft, we don't have any issue with, any limitation, same goes with defence system, for air-defence system, it is critical to have separate components, but it's more important to create a system... You have to take into account, that there should be one information system that would be working in real-time... 🇺🇸🇷🇺 America believes Putin wants a deal, but what they're missing is that Russia thinks it's at war with Washington Former CIA officer Sean Wiswesser spent decades in the intelligence world studying Russia, and he says one conversation with a Russian intelligence officer more than 20 years ago explains the mentality better than almost anything else. This was during a period when relations appeared to be improving. Bush and Putin were talking; America and Russia had a common enemy in Islamist terrorism, so Sean asked whether this could finally change the relationship between the two countries. The Russian intelligence officer laughed: You were the main enemy during the Cold War, you're the main enemy now, and you'll always be the main enemy. That's the lens through which Sean believes we need to understand Putin. Not as a communist trying to resurrect the Soviet economic system, but as a KGB man who wants to restore the power, status and sphere of influence Russia lost when the Soviet Union collapsed; and that makes Ukraine part of something much bigger. Sean argues that Putin doesn't simply see himself fighting Kyiv; Russian propaganda already presents the conflict as a war against America and NATO. And if Russia ultimately gets what it wants in Ukraine, Sean doesn't believe Putin will simply declare victory and go home. Sean Wiswesser Brandon Weichert

JUST IN: 🇺🇸🇨🇳🇷🇺🇪🇺 If China attacks Taiwan, Xi will try to drag Russia into a war with NATO - NATO Secretary General Rutte said. "If Xi Jinping attacked Taiwan, he would first make sure to call his junior partner in all this, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, who lives in Moscow, and say to him: 'Hey Vladimir, I'm going to do this, and I need you to keep them busy in Europe by attacking NATO territory.' Most likely, that's how it will go. Russia could try to challenge NATO in 5-7 years, since the Russian Federation is "recovering at a pace and speed that has no parallel in modern history. They are now producing three times more ammunition in three months than all of NATO does in a year”
