PEACE IN OUR TIME! President John Fitzgerald Kennedy understood what we need to remember. Peace is not achieved by weakness or appeasement. Peace comes from strength, clarity, and the resolve to back it up. He told the world exactly what America would defend and what the cost would be for testing us. This kind of courage serves as a reminder of what we are capable of when we refuse to surrender our conviction or our resolve. JFK knew war, as president, he fought for peace. He also stood for truth and for that, he was murdered. This speech is his most important and given the World War we currently wage, America still maintains an advantage, however, it is narrowing and growing increasingly dangerous if we don’t maintain the moral high ground. What Putin wants is the impression of a divided West — he wants a divided West. And the more we seem to accept the idea that America is no longer committed to European security, or that America is no longer committed to the protection and support of Ukraine, the better for Putin and the worse for Ukraine. Don’t fall for it.

U.S. Alternate Representative John Kelley at a UN Security Council Briefing on Ukraine: "The Russian Federation is expected to provide a term sheet broadly outlining its vision for a ceasefire. We will judge Russia’s seriousness towards ending the war not only by the contents of that term sheet, but more importantly, by Russia’s actions. We condemn Russia’s decision over the past weekend to launch some of the largest missile and drone strikes against Ukraine since the beginning of the war. This disregard for human life does not demonstrate a desire for peace. It must cease. If Russia makes the wrong decision to continue this catastrophic war, the United States will have to consider stepping back from our negotiation efforts to end this conflict. To be clear, in doing so, we would not be “abandoning” our principles or our friends. Rather, we would be recognizing Russia’s refusal to work with us toward a desirable outcome. The deal on offer now is Russia’s best possible outcome. President Putin should take the deal. The alternative – continuing to wage the war – would not be in anyone’s interest, including Russia’s. This is a disaster for America: After publicly rewriting history and blaming Ukraine and the West for initiating the war, he thanked China and India for their peace proposals and said that after visiting Alaska, he hopes that Trump's proposal would go in that direction. Putin also said that he'll update China's Xi and India's Modi on everything he spoke about with Trump. To get America to lose its power status and relationships in just 8 months is a talent. Congrats, Mr. Trump.

This CMCC that we’re setting up now—this is going to be used in other conflicts as we figure out all the intricacies of how to modulate a peace deal, go from war to peace.” He added that while signing all parties to this deal was a challenge in and of itself, “the implementation [is] going to be the most important.
