"Obviously, in my first couple of years, I was fighting a Brazilian. So I wasn't necessarily the most loved at the time. But every year I'd go, I really wanted to pay homage to their culture. To Ayrton and his family. And what they mean to the country. And then I had this amazing opportunity to drive his car in Brazil. And... wow..." Fossaroli: You know that the crowds are completely with you. I mean, it's not another driver. They give you a passport no? "Citizenship." Fossaroli: You can go wherever you want. "I think it's somewhere that I... I may live there one day. I really love Brazil. I think it's just... It's a bit like when I come to Mexico. When you go to certain places, they're so rich in culture. And when you go to Brazil, the depth of their culture runs so deep in all the people that you see. It's very, very diverse. It's got a crazy history in terms of how many Black people were taken there from Africa. So that's why there's so many people... I think it's like 12 million Africans were taken to Brazil." "And, you know, there's just so much passion and so much pride in that country. And I think when I was traveling the world before, there was no other country or nationality of a person that I would meet that was more proud of where they're from. When you meet a Brazilian, they're like, 'Oh, do you like Brazil?' And they were so passionate about Brazil. So, you know, I love it." Fossaroli: And they have good surf. You're a good surfer. "Yeah, I haven't been surfing in Brazil yet." Fossaroli: They have one of the best surfers around the world. "Oh, yeah. Gabriel [Medina] is amazing. They've got amazing surfers there. And I don't know why I haven't been yet. I think I'm always nervous of sharks. But I love it."
