Q: It's thought in the paddock that your car is actually the best chassis and if you can get that extra bit of power you are the ones to beat. So are you thinking if we can just get this [Engine ADUO] we know we have an incredible car? George's Post Sprint Qualifying Interview🏁 "we've sort of been saying all year, we're in the fight on the bad days with P5 and today wasn't a good day. We just got P5, sprint races are tricky sometimes. I think potentially we have a better race car than we do qualifying car. We're struggling a lot in the high speed, but I think when you're going a bit slower in the race through the high speed and the car's not as low to the ground, it could be a bit faster. But yeah, I think this is roughly where we're at sort of in the fight for P4." #F1 #USGP

Aaron Glenn on the Jets' discipline and penalties: "Last year, we led the league in false start and illegal formation penalties. We had one of those penalties yesterday. The plan is actually working the way that we want it to work. We have to continue to nip all of those things in the bud. For the past two years, we led the league in penalties. So when you go out and you don't have one false start penalty...our guys have been doing a hell of a job at trying to fix that. We're going to continue to do that. Now, we have to get ready to focus on some of these discipline penalties that we have had. We have to make sure that we can't allow those things to happen - they'll force you to lose games."

In 2025, the Western States 100 is going to be a track meet. I think that in 5-10 years, almost every major ultra is going to be a track meet. Our big theory is that as ultrarunners probe the limits of human physiology, athletes will be leaving time on the table if they aren’t developing their true speed. And most athletes can’t leave time on the table as the margins get more and more narrow. That theory doesn’t mean you need to be ready for a track race—I would get my doors blown off at the Olympic Trials. It just means that every aspect of running economy has a relation to top speed. Mile speed is connected to 5k speed is connected to 100-mile speed is connected to multi-day speed. We all have our limiters, and pushing back the speed limit via strides and workouts causes immediate and sustained improvement even at very low effort levels. The same principles apply to athletes doing their first ultra or dreaming of staying ahead of cutoffs (it might even apply more). Plus, it’s fun. The amazing Cody Bare filmed my workout yesterday for The Feed (for an upcoming video series), and this is the finish of the final 3 minute interval. The session: 4 miles Z2 warm-up 6 x (3 min on/1 min easy/1 min on/1 min easy) GI training consisting of 32 oz fluid at once 2.5 miles Z2/Z3 steady running after workout At the end of the video, I go to my arms, inspired by track/trail runners like Allie Ostrander and Anna Gibson and Grayson Murphy (hitting 3:50 min/mile pace). As I said at the end with my hands on my knees: “fun.” It’s so exciting to see how our understanding of human limits is changing with big fueling, an emphasis on long-term health, and fun training. I am so inspired by everyone out there pushing their own limits, wherever those limits happen to be. I can’t wait to see where all of you go in 2025. We're about to see a Cambrian explosion of new participants in financial markets and across the entire digital economy. That tells me every TAM in everything digital on this planet is wrong… We built every benchmark on human activity... how fast Facebook scaled, how fast OpenAI scaled, human eyes, human clicks, human speed. That's been the yardstick. And it's about to be useless. The new participants aren't human. They replicate at speed, communicate at speed, and don't even read the same websites we do. They don't need to. So it compounds faster and faster and faster, at a speed we can't see. We're about to lose the ability to measure anything at all.

I love you FSD v14.2 - but speed control has to come back soon… or they need to somehow solve misreading speed limits/bad map data. At the end of this clip we are JUST going the speed limit while in mad max. I’ve also had the car think it’s 30 km/h in a 60 km/h zone - in those situations even mad max won’t drive the speed limit and I am forced to use the pedal. This is actually more of a problem now since 14.2 since all of the profiles drive slower than they did in 14.1. I am 100% okay with the slower profiles, but only if the car actually knows the real speed limit.
