Rivian did a great job for sure. So much information! Along with Tesla, Rivian is the only automaker churning out updates this big every month. The software on your car is better today than it was a month ago.

That design looks really clean and minimalist. I love that other companies are working hard to catch up to Tesla's software capabilities. I personally would still go for a Tesla, but this pushes the EV's market overall. So, big W.

People need to stop sleeping on rivian. They are doing pretty great.

They literally gave you a little gauge right below the motor temperature to show you if 134F is a high motor temperature. If it gets to the red line, then it's getting hot. Currently, it's less than the half way mark so it's a perfect okay temperature. I am not sure if they could have made it anymore obvious.

This is a wonderful example showing what user experience design, here specifically information architecture, all brings to the table. Still a highly undervalued piece of any product - until executives realize how much it’s being valued. Thank you for drawing attention to it. 🙏

This looks like good information when parked - but is dangerous to be showing while driving. Screens like this (that require you to take your eyes off the road) make driving less safe.
