Quay Walker gets too much hate

Not saying he's a perfect player, but some fans act like he's one of the worst LBs in the league which he is not

Great pursuit and first step. Now show him in zone + man coverage...

I didn't need the clip to know that. But I enjoyed.

What do you think he can add to his game this offseason to take that next step and pass the eye test for fans?

Needs to finish plays. So so many times he's in perfect position to make a tackle/sack/INT and just doesn't finish

The man’s been a stud since day 1. Lays the hammer. Reads plays quickly. Can rush the passer. If he stays healthy he’s 👑

He's a super athletic dude, no doubt. But he's in a thinking-man's position.

People to conveniently forget he had to get use to a new defensive scheme,.... especially going from a 3-4 to a 4-3. That makes a huge difference for what a LB is responsible for. 3rd year guy has had 2 D Coordinators already. Let the kid digest that before throwing him under the wheels of the bus. His physicality is rare.

For sure. His athleticism changes the whole game when he’s out there

Usually slow to react. Lacks instincts. Physically is a freaking beast. Maybe he just needs more experience but you'd think a 1st round pick could come in and play like Cooper. He's instinctual, quick to react, reads and makes plays fast. Walker not so much.

If we learned anything from the mini run that Oren Burks just had, it’s that guys can grow and improve with time.

He could be such a nasty edge if they packed another 20 pounds on him and just put him there.

“ Get too much hate”then proceeds to show 5 plays where he made a nice play. Now show the other 99% of plays where he’s in man coverage, in the wrong gap or getting eaten up by a blocker. Guy is bad

When he’s on? He’s a top 10 MLB.. maybe even better. When he’s off? You could probably find 20+ starters on different teams who could easily take his spot.. problem is, you never know what Quay you’re gonna get game from game, let alone down to down.

Below average player. Not physical and no instincts

He got better last year. Hopefully pairing him with Cooper full-time we can see another jump.

He just gets out of position too much, he’s got the talent if he ever puts it all together he can be a problem

I really don’t think he does. His good plays are very good. His bad plays are awful. His consistency is not that of a starting MLB. The ceiling is still very high, but the floor needs to raise now if wants to stay on the starting D

Quay Walker is a very good Linebacker that’s is underrated. People love to blame secondary players but Quay Flyes to the ball

Two things for sure: 1.) Packers fans love to pile on once they don't like someone 2.) Packers fans have been wrong about players before

Because we have the most negative fan base in the NFL … so many arm chair GM’s many of whom don’t have great football IQ

He’s a middle of the pack LB. He better get middle of the pack money.

He’s had maybe 4-5 good games of his career that all happened this year in his 3rd year in the league
