I was driving through Montreal a few years ago, and was shocked at how much of their infrastructure was crumbling. I asked “what is going on in Quebec”. They replied “money laundering and embezzlement”. Checks out.

I know way too many people here that make around 50k. I do not understand how they survive without insane debt. The cost of living is relatively low, but they pay us less and tax us to death. It is not sustainable.
