This is what Canada used to be and needs to be again. Canadians and others who are allowed to join us through appropriate processes need the following values here: conform to Canadian culture, leave home country problems at home, contribute to the economy, no welfare handouts, learn English/French/Indigenous languages as part of your citizenship, keep the peace, stop imposing your religious practices on municipal and national organizations (if you're Sikh and want to be RCMP, you can't wear your turban - it doesn't go with the RCMP environment), and be a decent human being.

Good video once again. I came to Canada and as a guest I respected it here and fully understood the values and norms here are as such . So I bought a fishing rod ! Etc . I enjoyed it . No issues . But today it’s messed up .disrespected and diluted . Empty. No one cares now.

Had Europe maintained a strong identity and a dominant culture, perhaps integration would have been possible, and imported minority cultures would not have been able to become dominant. Clearly, British students are in fact able to find meaning in identity, but they are unable to find it in being British because they have no sense of what that is. In many cases they now find their identity in the culture that, despite being a minority culture, is a strong and therefore meaningful one (to them). By making that demand for conformity very clear to others, there is a generation of young people, in particular young women, whose political stances are based on the pressure to conform to this identity. When I went to Seattle, I was invited to the Ngemi Festival, which is a musical concert for the Kikuyu nation. I would not have invited other people to come and join in the Ngemi Festival because those were Kikuyu songs and people celebrating their culture. There is no one time I refused to engage all Kenyans #CitizenExplainer
