In fairness, I was always struck by the segregation within New York's gay scene. Even during Pride, when the parade concluded, various groups tended to separate rather than come together. This seemed particularly unusual when compared to the more unified atmosphere in London.

They are insufferable. They crave victimhood so bad. I'd rather gut myself with my bare hands than waste a minute speaking to any of these people.

A corollary of "some spaces are Black spaces" is that Black people will be underrepresented in other spaces. That's unless you think Black people can be two places at once, or that White people should stay home.

There's a very pronounced level of self segregation, especially in gay male spaces. It's because when you base a society on physical attraction, our preferences are highlighted. I'm not saying being attracted to a certain race is wrong but the guy talking is absolutely right.

Queer is a term co-opted by miserable heterosexuals who want that social clout. That’s why it’s an aesthetic, hence why they always look the same. If straight people can call themselves queer, then wtf is Q doing in the LGBT?
