Questioning Postmaster over cost over runs and poor service in Blount County.

UPS and FedEx profit billions doing the same job. This is how inefficient government is in everything it touches: "Last year, the agency lost $6.5 billion and owed $13 billion to the U.S. Treasury. The USPS also has nearly $135 billion in unfunded employee health-care and pension benefits. It warns that it could lose another $70 billion by 2030"

This is right here is why FedEx and UPS have been kicking the everliving daylights out of them.

I had a package that took 8 days to get from Sevierville to Corryton last week. It went from Sevierville to Atlanta back to Sevierville to Knoxville to Corryton. This is why we need @DOGE.

The USPS needs a DOGE review. They make people work like dogs while being part time for years before being hired full time. Missing out on benefits and years towards retirement. So they are not getting the best talent that handles our bills, credit card statements, tag renewals, bank statements, health documents, payments and other documents that are really what you could say, Are Important! Things that don’t need to be lost, late or given to someone else in town.

I currently have packages going all over the country with some being the next state over. One was mailed 6 days ago going to the next town over. Unbelievable

You are correct the rules and regulations strangle them.

I’m live in Blount. The mail is a disaster here!! I should get paid by the PO for the amount of times I deliver mail that’s been put in my box belonging to my neighbors. I could write a blog over mail screw ups. Good luck!!!
