The gap between knowing a shortcut exists and actually remembering to use it in flow state is where most efficiency dies.

Why do you define the height of the input based in line-height and not just make a fixed height auto-layout? No hate just curious haha

Auto layout isn’t fixed though and any text will always have some type of line height value even if it’s automatically assigned I just like to decide the line height % as well as the auto layout values And if I’m making those two decisions, might as well have it adhere to a system

Totally agree. What do you think about using the vertical trim and just do padding? I freak out a bit sometimes when the bounding box is crazy, unfortunately this doesn't work like this on code :(

@mds vertical trim is not supported in css

@dmowl_ I don’t use vertical trim because of this

Precise spacing is key for clear design. This shortcut streamlines the process beautifully. Consider also using plugins for advanced measurement control.

Solid tip. but... i've ne'er seen you in a non-black shirt... I wasn't sure it was really you. Is this AI?

This is also great for handoffs (most devs don’t have Dev mode seat)
