It’s not about celebrating “black Americans contributions for freedom justice and equality” that’s not what it’s about. It’s about the American descendants of slavery in the state of Texas that’s it and that’s all so you got the first part right and the last part wrong.

And now we know why - their schools are Antifa training camps. "This is why school choice matters and this is why giving parents the ability to send their students to the school that they desire is so important.
