sulky sangwon is the best😭 🦁: i wore the thing you bought me again today. did you see it? 🥀: i did, hahaha 🦁: no but, the thing is— 🥀: but that… why did you make it so long… so long like that? 🦁: ah, baby, listen… let me explain myself first 🥀: hm… 🦁: you know it kind of has that keyring feeling, right? like, the system is supposed to work a certain way…” 🥀: hm… 🦁: but when you connect it… like… ah, it’s kind of hard to explain. this side goes here, and then it connects, so you have to attach this side like this too 🦁: but here, on this side, there isn’t that keyring thing, you know? like that round piece, you know the feeling right? 🥀: you could still do it with that though 🦁: i could’ve, but… when i was leaving today, there were some… circumstances, so i had to leave quickly. i didn’t have time to do all that, so i attached one to my bag and the other to my pants 🥀: ahhh 🦁: it was my own interpretation 🥀: so you put the shorter one on your bag.. 🦁: at first, i went out like that, but it didn’t look that good. so i stopped in the middle of the road and switched them, the longer one on the bag, and the shorter one on my pants like this 🥀: *laughs* 🦁: were you still a little disappointed? 🥀: … yes 🦁: *laughs* but today i really didn’t have time. next time… yeah… i’ll put it on my pants properly. it definitely looks prettier when the two are connected together. the fit looks better that way 🥀: hmm, because it gets longer 🦁: right, right. but honestly, why did they even sell them separately in the first place? dont you think?” 🥀: i don’t know either… 🦁: if you think about it, it’s basically one set. selling them separately is kind of…ㅋㅋ yeah anyway~

Nick Fuentes goes into why Hitler is so cool to so many. In doing so, he summarizes the entire Piers Morgan interview. He gives an in-depth breakdown that relates to society today. Probably not what you expected to hear, but articulate and accurate. “We are living in a time where all we know is self imposed shame and guilt and self-hatred…we have to feel sorry, we have to feel bad…this is the society we’ve grown up in.” “What if we took the chains off?…that is what is electrifying. That’s what excites people.” “This is the simplest, most fundamental form of the idea. We have lost something. Something that’s priceless. Something that is not recoverable. We were cheated.” “You want us to apologize to some jew selling a book?” “People are starting to say, what if? What if it was all a mistake.” “The central point…why do we say Hitler is cool?…because we are destroying the secular religion of liberalism and the holocaust, which go hand and glove.” “I’ll say it’s 300,000, I’ll say it’s 100 million. Because I want you to know I don’t care…every death in a genocide is a tragedy. But you have weaponized the holocaust against me and my people. You have weaponized this atrocity against my civilization in order to further your own political objectives.” “As long as you’re doing that, it is my obligation to blaspheme your false secular religion.” “I apologize for nothing. I take nothing back.”

When it comes to dating, there’s always this debate—drinks versus dinner versus coffee, all of that. My view is pretty simple: if you’re going to go out for drinks, especially at a cocktail bar, you might as well just get dinner. By the time you’ve had two or three rounds, you’ve basically spent the same amount of time and money you would have on a main course and a drink anyway. I think part of the hesitation—especially for guys—is not wanting to invest in a full dinner. There’s this feeling of, “Do I really want to spend two or three hours with this person if I’m not even sure I’ll like them?” And that’s fair. But at the same time, there’s some interesting research suggesting that people actually feel closer to each other when they share a meal. So if you do like the person, dinner can be a better starting point for building something real. The way around that initial uncertainty is simple. If you don’t know the person—say you met on an app—just do a quick FaceTime call first. Five or ten minutes. It’s basically a vibe check. You get a sense of the chemistry, and you can see if they actually look like their pictures. I was in an Uber a couple weeks ago in Austin, and my driver—she was probably in her fifties, recently divorced—was telling me about going on dates. She said half the time the guy’s photos show him with hair, and then she meets him and he’s bald. And she was like, “I’m not trying to date a bald man. If he goes bald while we’re together, fine, but I’m not starting there.” And I told her the same thing: just do a quick FaceTime call beforehand. It solves a lot of that. So my basic recommendation is: quick FaceTime call, then dinner. Skip the whole “let’s just grab drinks and feel it out” approach. If you’re going to meet, just have a normal date.

About what happened to ziyu's finger!!! Ziyu: "About my hand... it was that day of filming. I got back quite late and I don't know why, but I suddenly felt like unclogging the drain. You know how normal drain covers are made of metal? I’ve unclogged them before with just a little nudge, and it was the same that night. But it just wouldn't budge. At the time, it was already pretty late, so I thought, 'I'll just pry it open and be done with it.' So I stuck my thumb into one of the long holes and gave it a hard pull. The cover popped off, and then... it hurt. It hurt so much that I was in shock. Ah! Pain! Argh, it hurts! I immediately put my hand under the sink to rinse it and called for help. 'Quickly! Quick, come here!' The staff rushed over to bandage me up. By the time they arrived, I was in this pose... [Dance Ending Pose] The sink was right here, and I was just standing like this because the wound was bleeding and the water was running. Xiao Qu (staff) was actually a bit startled by it. [ Status Update on the Injury] Ziyu: "I went to the hospital after that. My thumb has been wrapped up since then. As for the wound, because it's a large, crescent-shaped cut that goes all the way to the nail bed, I call it the 'Devil's Smile.'" It’s healing quite well now. The overall shape has recovered, and the area around the cut has become quite hard—like a scab or a shell. It might leave a small scar, but I think it's fine. By the time you see this video, I probably won't need to wear the bandage anymore. To be honest, the bandage is mainly to protect my hand. It serves as a physical reminder not to use that finger, and it keeps the wound safe. So please don't worry too much; it's healing great. Here’s my controversial opinion why you technically don’t need reps near failure for driving serious muscle hypertrophy This training style truly isn’t for everyone. It’s for the few that are obsessed with getting as big as humanly possible especially for those who have made the decision to stay natty. I have other traditional bodybuilding programs, let me know in the comments if you would like a structured program that uses a more foundational approach I’ll send you a free week. The low rep stuff is what I use, and I like to talk about it, but it’s not even close to the only program or training method I use for others. The people who say it takes too long have never tried this style of training The people who say it takes too long are wrongfully assuming you’re lifting weight that is so heavy you need 3-5 minutes between sets to recover. There are many ways to recruit high threshold motor units, and for hypertrophy doing 7-9 reps to build up fatigue so that the last 2-3 reps your body is forced to recruit these motor units might be the absolute worst way to recruit them The easiest way is to add more weight, then add the effort into the concentric phase of the reps. This way you don’t need reps near failure, and by not needing to train so close to failure, you’re able to repeat sets quicker. Some sets as soon as 30 seconds, some later or last top sets up to 2-3 minutes Regardless, when you use this method you are trading junk volume for meaningful reps. You’re also managing your time in the gym around this concept to cut out all the other exercises you normally have to do This is why people finish these sessions in 75 min or so. If you start a free week of a low rep set program just click the link in bio to start. When you do start, don’t look at just the numbers, the coaching notes are where the most value is when you start the session

Spike Lee on how he overcame funding shortfalls & Warner Bros' indifference to get 'Malcolm X' (1992) made: "The making of that film was the hardest thing I ever had to do. And the great Marvin Worth bought the rights from Dr. Betty Shabazz, way back. Way back. And for 20-something years, he tried to get it made — several directors, several — several actors. And finally, Norman Jewison was the director, with Denzel. And when I heard that Norman Jewison was directing this, I said, “Hell to the nah!” But here’s the thing, though. I respect Norman Jewison, because it was his job; he gracefully bowed out. He didn’t have to do that. And so, once we got that, I knew we had to do the film. But from the very beginning, we didn’t have enough money. We didn’t have enough money. I put half my salary into the film. Warner Bros. knew it. We all knew it. But we’re just gonna go. I mean, this whole thing is — and, you know, in the studio system, you got to get them impregnated. So we knew one day the money would run out. And Warner Bros. did not want the length of that film to be three hours. We knew — it was not about ego. To tell the many different lives that Malcolm led, we needed that time. We needed that time. And we went out — it’s crazy. We showed the four-hour version to Warner Bros. Four hours. We knew we’d cut it down, but… It was the day of the Rodney King verdict. So, we’re screening a film for Warner Bros. executives, the two presidents, and the secretaries are coming in and out, because L.A. is burning. But to their credit, they stayed throughout the whole four hours. And so, it was a long discussion, because they had to — we had — I think a helicopter came to Warner Bros.’ lot and took them to where they had to go. And they said, “How long the film might be?” I said, “I need as long as” — I said, “How long is JFK?” Because JFK was coming out. And they said, ”JFK is two hours.” They didn’t know I know Oliver Stone. I call Oliver. I goes, “Oliver, how long is JFK?” He says, “Spike, it’s three hours, but don’t tell them I told you so.” So we knew that we had to keep going. We did not cut the film, the length. And Warner Bros. let the bond company take over the film. All the people in postproduction got registered letters saying, “You’re fired.” As I said before, I already put half my salary already into the film. So it was the lowest point in my life, with the exception of my mother dying. And Malcolm came to me: self-determination, self-reliance. I kept thinking about that again and again and again. What does that mean? And then it hit me like a ton of bricks: I know some Black folks that got some money. So, this was the plan. Not did I only know them, but I had their phone number. So I made a list. And here’s the key thing. This was not — it was not — they couldn’t get any money back. It wasn’t a tax write-off. This had to be like, “Here, take it. Take it.” And the first person I called was Bill Cosby. Called him up, said, “Bill” — first thing I said was, “How’s Camille?” Then I told him what it was about. He said, “Spike, I’ll put the check in the mail.” I said, “Nah.” I knew he lived in a townhouse, Upper East Side. Knocked on the door. Didn’t even come in. Snatched that check, ran to the bank before he could change his mind. So I made a list. And I always get the order mixed up. A great woman, Peggy Cooper Cafritz, she wrote a check. Tracy Chapman. Janet Jackson. Prince. And then there were two left. So, here’s the other thing, though, is that every time they said yes, I was asking for more money, ’cause I was feeling it. So, I had two people on my list. Called up Magic. Boom. And then the last call, the GOAT, who was born in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, not North Carolina: Michael Jordan, born in Cumberland Hospital on Myrtle Avenue, same hospital where Mike Tyson and Bernard King were born in, Bernard and Albert King were born. So, I mean, one thing about Michael, he don’t like to lose nothing. Very competitive. So I just let it slip how much Magic gave. Oh, oh, oh, Ms. Oprah Winfrey — sorry, sorry. She’s in there. I told you I get the — so I let Michael — I said, “Magic gave…” He said, “Magic gave what?” Boom! So now we had the money, and I had the money to rehire the crew. And at this time, there was no talking between myself and Warner Bros., because Warner Bros. gave the film to the bond company. So, on this date, on Malcolm’s birthday, we had a press conference at the Schomburg Collection, Schomburg Library, 135th and Lenox. And we announced that these prominent African Americans wrote these checks. And the next day, Warner Bros. financed the rest of the movie. True story." I’ve noticed this getting way way worse in the last month. This has been a manipulation tactic since 2015. It’s why we originally formed the bears. Bear names showed if someone was real or not. The sophistication kept improving so we started doing bear meetups to be around real humans especially during Covid. Todays the last day if you want to join beartaria times app. Then I’m shutting the door. I saw this coming a long time ago so I deeply value actual human interaction in a dignified space. My instinct says to keep it private. So I am. Today’s the last day. Actual human beings are being gas lit right now to a degree that’s pretty incredible. Being mostly offline like my wife and her friends definitely helps but in my opinion it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better. Feels like a similar time to the Bruce Jenner era of “woman of the year.” I watched people give up their humanity and just say what they thought was consensus. None of those people are doing well now in my opinion. It’s a horrible decision. I see that now with Nick Fuentes. A gay Mexican with a toupee is being praised as this hardcore right wing leader of a movement that puts America first. I don’t care if it’s a 99:1 ratio every single time I post about it. I know that’s insane. The method to break a prisoner in a camp is to insist upon a reality that goes against his senses. What works even more than physical torture is group identity, perceptions of “consensus” and shame. Especially on caucasians. Our desire to go along with things for the sake of society gets highjacked in these scenarios. There was a Star Trek episode where Picard was screaming that there are only four lights. Despite the Borg saying three over and over and over. With the illusion of the internet and the integration of AI false consensus has been super charged and it works on people. Even ones you would never guess. My best interactions are in private communities or in person. So if you wanna watch my videos where the numbers and comments and likes are real and not being manipulated at all If you want to do what no bot can do and send me a letter: P.O. Box 490 sandpoint Idaho 83864 Catlyn Jenner is not the woman of the year, and Nick Fuentes is a gay Mexican with a toupee and I will say that a billion more times it if I have. I know what I’m looking at.

Dear X Family, Please RT my story. My name is Muffin. I don't understand why they did this to me. I did nothing wrong. I was born inside Marshall BioResources (MBR), located at 5800 Lake Bluff Road North Rose, NY. [email protected] 1-315-587-2295. They currently have 23.000 beagles waiting to be sold to testing labs. Many of these beagles are killed after being tortured. After a year of living inside MBR, I was sold to a testing lab in Pennsylvania. They conducted torture tests on me for three years. Luckily they never killed me. I was released through a rescue with 24 other beagles. I was completely broken. I don’t think anyone had ever seen me as bad as I was. I couldn’t walk. I couldn’t look at anyone. Whenever someone came near, I would freeze, terrified. Sometimes, I would even fall over—my body so stiff with fear that I thought I might never move again. The first time it happened, I remember the look on their faces... like they thought I had died right there from fright. My toenails hurt all the time, they were so long. I had these painful red sores on my legs, and I was so dirty. I smelled so bad that the people who came to take me home were gagging in the car because of the stench of poop. I didn’t mean to smell that way. I couldn’t help it. It took me five months before I could even take a treat from their hands. Five months of being afraid of what might happen next. Now a year has passed, and I do love my new family. I really do. I try to enjoy my life with them, and I’m getting better, but... when they pick me up, something terrible still happens. I can’t help it. I freeze. My body goes stiff, and slowly, I tilt my head back and open my mouth. I know what’s coming, and it terrifies me every time.I remember the tube, the feeling of it going down my throat. They called it oral gavage. I endured it over and over. It may have been years. I don't remember. My brain goes numb to block out memories. My mom sees me shaking She knows I'm having a flashback. I don't understand why they did this to me? I did nothing wrong. I ask that you help me free the 26,000 beagles waiting to be sold to labs by PUSHING your Legislators to forward Modernization Act 3.0 to compel the FDA to use non-animal-testing methods. The labs will keep purchasing and killing Beagles instead of modernizing to cruelty free methods. It took me less than 2 minutes to submit email telling my Legislators to push forward the FDA Modernization Act 3.0 HERE > While waiting for that to happen, my friends will continue exposing Marshall BioResources (MBR) located in New Rose, NY, 1-315-587-2295 (23k beagles inside) and Ridglan Farms in Wisconsin, 1-608-437-8670 (3k beagles inside) with all resources under legal rights. 🛑🇫🇷 - A French woman is talking to Emmanuel Macron. She said, “Macron since you came into power, we are in shit. We no longer can buy anything. You’re the disgrace of our country. So, it’s time for you to leave, because we’re in shit. I didn’t have any choice between my rent and the electricity bill. But, I chose to pay my rent in order not to become a homeless. Today, I find myself without electricity, and I’m obliged to cook some pasta with this small gas stove. You’re the disgrace of our country. You know Mr Macron, I know what it is to a homeless, because a long time ago, I was homeless with 4 kids to care for. You are useless at all. You are just there as a decoration. You don’t keep your word. It enters in one ear and goes out from the other. You promised that there are no more homeless on the streets. Nowadays, there are still many on the streets. I am privileged to have a roof over my head, but I don’t have electricity anymore. Why? Because, you have increased everything. Those people, the people survive. Are you not ashamed of what you’re doing? But you’re quiet! Before Christmas, they cut off my electricity. Is that my Christmas gift? Before Christmas, they cut off my electricity without warning me, without sending me a word in the mailbox. Normally, in winter, they have no right to cut off electricity. Now, I’m obliged to go to the Auchan to charge my cellphone because, it doesn’t last long. Mr Macron with his three piece suit, he wants to act smart, make promises, promises of nothing at all. Promising to the people but doing nothing. He is doing nothing for his people. He is putting everyone in shit, you’re putting everyone in shit. Do you understand? Everyone is in shit. You put me in shit, like other people whom you put in shit. We’re all in shit because of you. We’re all in shit Mr Macron because of you. Your own people are in shit because of you. So, resign if you’re unable to take care of your people. Resign!” Alright, folks, the number of times she used the word shit shows how desperate and frustrated she is. I must confess that I couldn’t stop laughing. These are the French people who don’t truly know nor understand that their country called France 🇫🇷 is striving because she controls 14 francophone countries. It’s thanks to those country that France 🇫🇷 holds its prestige on the world stage and can lift a finger. If not, France 🇫🇷 is a dwarf and doesn’t deserve to sit among powerful nations. She’s complaining that she doesn’t have electricity anymore. Well, woman, your country used to get free uranium in a country called Niger 🇳🇪 that you guys called the poorest. Now that a man called General Tiani Conseil National pour la Sauvegarde de la Patrie has shut down the uranium tap, your electricity bill has skyrocketed. That’s why your crooked country finds it difficult to buy it at market price because, they can’t afford it. No wonder ORANO wants to sue Niger because General Tiani took back the uranium mines from your hands. Awww crybabies! Thieves will go hungry oh! So, a thief and a predator who was looting our uranium for the last 53 years wants to sue us for taking back our thing? Eiii! Europeans are very funny 🤣🤣🤣. Ok! See you in court! We’ll settle the score there! Without energy, you will have no economy! We’ve not yet abolished the CFA franc and you guys are already crying? You said you’re all in shit right? Sorry, woman! You’ll be in deep shit very soon! It’s way bigger than Macron, because Africa must be free! This is just the beginning of sorrows! It’s going to be worst! Wait and see!

We are so quick to ask for prayer when we are poorly, but not as quick to thank him for the result. I wanna get better at because I'm still here, and that... is a miracle, thank you, Jesus 🙏 When someone asks for prayer, you know they are not ok, as it actually takes a lot of courage to ask for prayer and admit you aren't coping. But society doesn't teach us that. We all put on that brave face. How about you just be YOU, exactly how you come today, and then how you come tomorrow and so on. So many more people will be touched as they gravitate to the vulnerable sides we dont like people to see. No one can be strong all the time. But at the beginning of this now 6 month fight, I would try and be whom I thought people expected me to be, but there comes a time you can't pretend, and I am realising that is OK as well. When you have no choice but to just "be," that's when you find your true self. It doesn't mean that a loud, vibrant person isn't me either. It just means I'm stripped back atm and taking a step back to heal. One can only get back up so many times, before they fall and stay there for a while, and that's me now, and I have now learnt that it is also OK as well. During these times of absolute stripping back, I like to call it, you lose energy very quickly. So, during your "healing journey," many follow and offer help, support, and love, and as the journey goes on, it gets less than a few less again. Then you get to the point where people just don't know what to say. Because you know what? Either do I? I feel like if I explain every detail to someone of the last 5 years I've just met, they wouldn't even believe it could happen because I still struggle too. My best friend Nadine wrote this song for me, and I've used it to show you some really personal pictures of the last 6 months fighting golden staph and then sepsis. Keep in mind these are the good pictures, I tried to take the confronting ones out. This journey is still ongoing, and It's been in this time that EVERYTHING has started to crash around me, literally.... I was and still feel numb, I didn't want to talk, and some days I still don't want to. Don't take it as a sign against you. I need to learn how to take off everything that has crashed around me first. I'm still on the floor and I've realised that it's ok to stay there for a while as well. I nearly died twice in the last 6 months, and sometimes I ask why I didn't? Because after 20 years in pain, it's a long road with very few walking companions. I cry thinking about my beautiful son Colby, who has had to watch this journey nearly his whole life. I wish he didn't have to, but then part of that is what makes him, him as well. So there is ALWAYS a purpose, and there is ALWAYS a reason. Man, I am proud mumma of the man you have become❣️ So I hold on to that last string of hope I still have, well let's say a peice of cotton, in the hope that when my story is read it will help other people, and maybe change lives, because for awhile there I was actually brave enough to write it. I realise managing to sit in the sun for 30 mins in the morning is heaven. Sitting for meals and then back to bed is the reality, but I hang on to "I sat in the sun for 30 mins today." Then slowly but surely I will lift off the things that have fallen on top of me, one at a time, and start finding my way back. Because my small circle is unfailing, never changing, always loving, accepting of any way I come and always available. I am loved and so very blessed 🙏 I'm extremely grateful for all the messages, and if I haven't replied, you now know why, but I have read them ALL, and I thank you. They continue to encourage me. Thank you ALL so much, Much Love Always Emma xx ❣️

🎤: normally, how many minutes does it take sky to finish a single plate of food? 🐱: i've never actually timed it, but probably around... 🎤: just give a rough estimate 🐱: ...5 minutes 🐶: huhh?! 😲 🎤: *mimics sky speed eating* 🐱: no–! 🐶: what am I, a pop ghost?! (//in thai folklore, 'pop' is a spirit/ghost known for having an insatiable appetite and devouring everything) 🎤: (like he's in a rush) to continue filming (the series) 🐱: it's because the plate is small and he's in a rush! yeah! 🎤: right, right, he's in a rush 🐱: it's a small plates, a small plate! he– 🎤: maybe... maybe (5 mins) is a bit too fast 🐱: he only eats the meat! he doesn't really eat the rice. he only eats a tiny bit of rice so that's why it's so quick! 🎤: ohh you were counting the rice? It takes a long time to finish an entire meal 🎤: well, that actually makes sense 😂 🐶: try again, try again! ask again, ask again! (ask for) just the actual eating time! 🎤: just the duration of the eating process 🐱: the duration... 🎤: we are completely cutting out the (food) serving part. the timer starts the exact moment the food hits the table– beep! the timer starts! 🐶: *points to 🎤* your question wasn't clear in the first place! SOUTH EAST: I have struggled to understand the rationale behind this kind of blockade across South East of Nigeria. It is arguably one of the most humiliating acts of intimidation that I’ve ever seen. You have to experience it to believe it. The first time I saw this, traveling from Enugu to a friend’s event in Abia, I was blown away. If I didn’t have my own escort, there was no way I could’ve made that event. The lines stretch several kilometers back and people can be stuck in those things for as long as 2,3 or more hours. By the time they get to leave, it’s dark and dangerous to ply most of those roads. The whole essence of leaving early to arrive early as advised by the Nigerians police is then defeated, thereby endangering the same lives you claim to be protecting with these road blocks! This doesn’t happen in any other part of Nigeria. Eastern region isn’t the terrorism hotbed of Nigeria. We all know it’s the North. Yet, they don’t have anything nearly as close in the North. It’s free movement all the way. But in the East, every pole, nearly every few kilometers, if it’s not army, it’s police, civil defense or even customs! Now the billion dollar question is: who inflicts more harm on the people - Unknown Gunmen or the extortionate checkpoints? I obviously do not have a problem with checkpoints intended to check criminality, but criminality isn’t curbed by these kinds of intimidating and choking checkpoints. You end criminality with combat readiness. That’s why in America, the police doesn’t block the road except there’s an emergency. They have patrol vehicles parked on highway shoulders, ready to go after any offender at a moment’s notice. If these checkpoints were to check crimes, the people definitely are tired of it. Some of them now even prefer the so called crimes to this level of humiliating restriction of movement. It’s crippling economic activities in the East and it’s beginning to look suspicious. Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe among many others have raised alarm and it seems no one is listening. Dismantle these checkpoints or make them passable for motorists. We’re not living in war time in Eastern Nigeria. We know where the war is at in Nigeria. It’s not the East.

More thoughts on landings: I went to the Reserves & got re-qualified as a KC-10 instructor after a couple years away from the jet. The DO (Director of Operations) assigned me to fly w/ the Wing Commander, who flew jets occasionally now & had only a weird “Senior Staff” Qual in the KC-10. Long story. Anyway, the DO gave me a warning. He phrased it in a nice way, but told me they only allowed certain instructors to fly w/ the Wing Commander. It piqued my curiosity, but I didn’t go on high alert or anything. So, we’re on the last landing of the sortie, really late at night. Things look fine, he’s doing fine, and I’m happy we’re almost done. Somehow in the last 100’, this guy manages to put the jet down almost in the lights leading up to the runway. I’ve never seen anything like it & couldn’t explain it. It was like the universe paused, reset our height above the ground, then resumed play. We touched down on the main gear maybe 50’ from the runway threshold. I didn’t have time to react. I realized we were safe & stopping, so didn’t say anything. I didn’t debrief him, either…he wasn’t going to listen to me anyway. I tried to figure out how that happened. I honestly never did. I didn’t see any yoke movements or power adjustments that would account for it, nor was there any weather that would do it. We were on speed & glidepath. I still don’t really know. Anyway, I talked to the DO the next day. He wasn’t surprised, and reiterated that was why they only let him fly with a handful of instructors. I flew with him again, and it was vanilla, but I watched like a Hawk. That lesson sticks with me. Fast forward to years later, and I haven’t actually flown the KC-10 in a long time. I’m not current & so my qualification has lapsed. I hear my son on a video game group chat telling others something along the lines of “yeah, when my dad retires I get to wave the jet in to parking”. Shit. The kids are expecting that. I was just going to go away quietly…I had a lot going on in those years. A lot. I didn’t have the bandwidth for the KC-10, but now there is an expectation & I can’t let them down. So, the squadron goes to extraordinary lengths & draws up a whole requalification plan for me, which has to be signed at multiple levels. In reality, it’s just to do one last flight, and not even do much flying. The squadron was extremely gracious in this regard. My instructor, a good friend of mine, offers me the last landing. I’ve strapped into the seat for this one…I’d been napping in the back while the other pilots took turns practicing touch & gos for their currency. I considered it, but the jet – which I had thousands of hours on – felt huge now & I was uncomfortable. I declined & put my hands in my lap. He landed & slowed it down. I took over to taxi it in for my kids, and then we had the whole show of throwing water on me, champagne & pictures. And that was it. That was my last landing in a military jet.

💬: While the war between Min Hee-jin and HYBE is still ongoing, NewJeans accepted the first-instance court ruling without filing an appeal... the ruling that said their exclusive contracts with HYBE (or rather, with ADOR under HYBE; I’ll just call it HYBE) are still valid. All of the NewJeans members accepted it. So people were like, “Then what does that mean?” It basically meant they were saying they would go back to HYBE. But within HYBE, at first they only planned to accept two members back, and they were wavering over what to do with the other three. Then more recently, this is what you’re seeing now, they decided, “We need to cut Danielle.” Why single out just this one member? This is something I’ve investigated, but I can’t give you exact details yet. There are probably multiple reasons mixed together. But there are a few prevailing interpretations. First, because the NewJeans members are young, discussions are often conducted together with their parents, almost as if the parents are acting as representatives. There’s a view that Danielle’s parents may have been relatively more hardline. Second, there’s the idea that you need to make an example out of at least one person... grab one, so to speak, so you can line up the rest and bring them under control. From that perspective, they decided they needed to single someone out to “set discipline.” At some point in the past, Danielle posted a photo that gave off the nuance that she might be working on something together with certain people. Now, when all five NewJeans members did other activities or pursued independent moves, they did so as a group. But in this case, she was the only one who posted something like that on her own, so she kind of stood out that one time. And based on that, this is just my own speculation, by the way, if they decided to latch onto that as concrete grounds, it would be incredibly easy to single out just one person. It becomes very convenient to frame it like, “Were you trying to work with other artists?” or “Were you trying to go to another producer?” That kind of narrative is easy to construct. So from my perspective, they singled out Danielle first, and, why? You know “divide and rule,” right? You break one person off, come down hard on them, and then show the remaining four, “If you step out of line, this is what happens,” basically grabbing them by the collar to keep them in check. This kind of thing has existed in the idol industry for a long time. At SM, for example, exclusive contracts used to be around 10 years, then after the JYJ incident they were changed to about 7 years. And when it starts to look like artists might not renew around the 7-year mark, companies don’t exactly send them off nicely. That kind of agency-specific culture might also be at play here, layered on top of everything else. In any case, it seems like Danielle was already marked, and that’s why they may have gone after her over something else. That’s why I think the likelihood that this was all planned has grown quite a bit.

On the topic of our kids having AI friends (long) I got my 6yo Daughter an AI toy for her b-day that arrived for Xmas instead. She unpacked it all excited, I explained that this isn't like other toys, that this one has AI in it (she of course knows what AI is, seen the things I've built and interacted with them, chatted with chatGPT and Santa mode, knows that daddy is "doing AI" etc') So a very interesting experiment happened after @_magicaltoys reached out and fixed the issue referenced below (very quick turnaround! thank you!) So...she played with this Dino, chatted with it, and then... learned to turn it off, and doesn't want it to talk anymore. She still loves playing with it, dressed it up, it now has paper shoes and a top hat that we made together, but every time I ask her if she'd like to chat with it, she says no. The few times I turned it back on, and she did speak with it, she chatted for a bit, and then just... turned it off again, not wanting to engage at all. I gently asked why, and wasn't able to really understand where's the resistance, it's not weird to her. In fact, at one point she was pretending the dino was a baby, and it was turned on, so I told her, let's ask it to.. pretend to be a baby, and it obliged and said ok. So we asked it to cry. Granted @_magicaltoys don't yet have the amazing advanced voice mode like openAI in there, so it did it's best but it sounded weird, which made her laugh really hard. it was basically making crying sounds like talking. And also, there are some technical issues still, the voice is sometimes choppy, so it could be that it's still uncanny for her? I'm honestly fascinated about why the AI aspect of this toy didn't connect with my 6yo (and btw, I have a very curious 4yo boy, who could give 0 fucks about this toy also, he's very observant, and usually wants everything his sister has, wanted 0 time with Dino) Is this uncanny valley? a couple of times she didn't want to talk to it, and came to me to whisper to ask me to turn it off (the same happened a couple of times with chatGPT Santa mode btw now thinking about it) Is this just now knowing what to say? 🤔 It could be the simple fact that she was playing with some other things, and the toy kept wanting to engage and take the attention to itself vs the game that she was playing. I know that I have a sample size of 1 kid here, and I'm sure many many things will change, as she'll grow and learn to interact with more AIs in different forms, but the first "toy" contact was interestingly almost a complete failure (from the AI perspective, the Toy experience as I said, was dope) Anyway, this area is def unexplored, will keep you guys posted how this goes and if she shows interest or picks it up again.

Carol Vorderman in conversation with James O'Brein over Reform UK's Makerfield by-election candidate Robert Kenyon's insulting remarks JOB, "Carol Vorderman has asked Robert Kenyon, a Reform UK's candidate in the imminent Makerfield by election, for an apology, for posts on a now deleted X account in which he, Well, you'll find out, if you don't know already, she said, I want an apology from Rob Kenyon to me and to all the other people he's abused online." JOB, "I sat down with Carol yesterday afternoon to talk about this and, one or two other things. It occurred to me, just sitting down now, Carol, that this is not something you, you sought because you haven't been in any sense reticent in recent years with your political opinions and even with activism, but you've been dragged into this deeply unpleasant situation entirely innocently." JOB, "So unpleasant, in fact, that I'm not sure I can repeat, I'm not sure I'm comfortable saying in front of you the words that Robert Kenyon chose to endorse and defend on, social media." CV, "Well, I am, because it's important that people know. And this is just one comment. He has made multiple comments which are online abuse about me and lots of other people. So the one specifically about me that he endorsed was I want to smell and lick Carol Vorderman's eight letter word beginning with A." CV, "And reform have said, oh, it's just locker room banter. I don't know why they're using the term locker room, by the way, because I thought we said changing rooms in this country. But that's an entirely different, different, question. But the thing is, James, I'm not upset by it, I am angered by it." CV, "And the reason that I'm angered by it is because every woman listening, any woman who is on social media will have similar said to her, either abusive, all the other things that he said. You know, there was some forum that he was on, rugby, league forum, and they were posting pictures of the girls, the women who play." CV, "And then he was saying, oh, English women, they don't care. All they want to do with their fat bellies, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Then there was some, European women. Then he was saying, you know, oh, you wouldn't get me off them with a bazooka." CV, "You know, all this stuff, stuff about abortion. I mean, it's just disgusting stuff. And it's not just one comment, it's a tirade of online abuse. And every woman listening who has had that will know how it makes them feel." CV, "And so I am angry that a political party can take this person on one without obviously vetting him properly. But also that they just defend it and they're fine with that." JOB, "He was not a politician at the time. He was an ordinary man from an ordinary place, said Danny Craig group." CV, "Really? That's what. Yeah, that's what posh boys, who lead the Reform Party think, of ordinary men. Well, ordinary men generally are lovely, you know, they really are." JOB, "We do our best." CV, "Well, you are. And they respect women. All of that is true. But you have this growing minority who are extremely abusive. And I'm 65, James. And so I've been, you know, and women my age, we've been through the hard years." CV, "So in the 70s, you know, I was a bright kid from a comp in North Wales. Free school meals kid. And it took, you know, a lot to get to a Cambridge college because there were only, three girls colleges." CV, "And I think four or five had gone what they called mixed. So these are boys colleges taking on women's colleges. And it was like, why wouldn't you? You know, I was from a boys and girls comp, but we had to go through that." CV, "You had to be the first woman to do this. First woman from a state school. Northwest goes Cambridge first. You know, I was, I think, when I did engineering, There were about 300 students in our year, four or five of them were girls. I worked underground, me and 2,000 men, all this." CV, "So we have done the hard years over decades, all that. I wanted to be a fighter pilot. You can't, because you're a girl and you don't have the appendage that's required. You know, all of this nonsense that we had to put up with. So, for me, that this Reform Party is saying on day one, they would repeal the Equality act." CV, "And we all know what that means. So, you know, the protections against harassment of women in the workplace, the, equal pay, maternity leave, maternity pay, all of those. We're going to scrap all those. So it is indicative of the way in which this might go, as we've seen in America." JOB, "I think talking of ordinary men, the person who pushed back against him on social media was. It was a rather better model of masculinity." CV, "Yes, absolutely. So he's the author, Chris Ryan, who is a former SAS hero, a very successful author. Chris is his pen name. And, he absolutely defended me because he is a real man." CV, "He's not a pretend. He's a real guy and a guy who respects women." JOB, "I suppose, in some sense, the writing was on the wall with the leadership of reform who have not responded by the way, to, our, requests a, response to these allegations of misogyny, including the comments directed at you." JOB, "But when James McMurdoch Ended up in Parliament just after the last election, and, it quickly emerged that he'd been jailed for attacking a former girlfriend." CV, "Yes. And here is another example, a very serious example of, to me, reforms, excuses for things. So I think it was a Times newspaper fact he only got in with a majority of 98." CV, "So imagine if this information had been available beforehand about him. So, shortly after he was elected in 2024 as a Reform MP, I think it was a Times newspaper, found that he had been convicted and served time for, assaulting his girlfriend." CV, "He then said in his defense, oh, it was a push. Then the official court documents show that she was on the floor. He was kicking her multiple times while she was on the floor and had to be, dragged away by two security guards." CV, "Very different stories. Richard Tice then defends it, saying, oh, well, he's served his time. That was a long time ago. It doesn't matter. I am sorry. It matters. It matters to women. We know how much harassment online has increased and offline." CV, "So this is a time for all women to stand up and say, enough now, we are not going backwards." JOB, "I suppose one example is. It could be chalked up as accidental or carelessness. But two examples and emerging patterns speak of something altogether more sinister." CV, "Yes, well, Lee Anderson, bless him, when he was a Tory. That was after he was a Labour." JOB, "Yes." CV, "And now he's a Reform." JOB, "Correct. Well, at the time of this conversation, we'll have to check before we play it" CV, "out on the program tomorrow. Yeah, so he was, in the Conservative Party at the time and he was slinging insults to me all the time on Twitter in, the days when we used to be on Twitter. And, you know, obviously now he's reformed, he thinks it's perfectly acceptable." CV, "So there is a pattern there with this party. And, that is my concern that they will, if they get into, and they've stated it out in the open, we will repeal the Equality Act." JOB, "It's surprising to me when people like Danny Kruger talk about ordinary people. An ordinary man for an ordinary man." CV, "When he went to Eton." JOB, "Yeah. And, well, also his mother is on telly as well, so, you know, he or she at, at least will be aware of the misogyny that police. Yeah, yeah. You think that that might have given him a slightly more sensitive insight into what it's like for women like you. And, and you are tough. I mean, I don't mean that in a patronizing way." CV, "I take it as a compliment." JOB, "Good, I'm glad you do because you are perfectly capable of looking after yourself. A lot of women, both online and offline, are not, of course, and those are the kind of women that, misogynistic men prey on." CV, "But the thing is, I, I have a tough skin now because of all of the abuse over decades. And it. You know, I can remember when I wore a short skirt to the BAFTAs. I was age 39. Well, it was like I'd killed my grandmother the next day." CV, "It was the quest. Even the BBC made a whole Kilroy show about it. Flew this dress in copy dress from Paris. And, the question was, should a woman age 39 wear a dress above the knee? Jeez, I mean, that's my lifetime. This isn't Victorian days or my mother or post war." CV, "This is me in my lifetime. So, you know, as I go back to the beginning, women my age who love the fact that our daughters or nieces, or grandchildren have, can play football, you know, very happily can be applauded for what they do in sport." CV, "Can be. Oh, another thing that I'll, Kenyon said was that women can't referee, drive, take directions. And he had a go at various female sports presenters on the telly. You know, it's constant, it's consistent." JOB, "So they're not, they're not up to the job. They're only there to tick a box. And then declaring and From a political point of view, this is interesting actually stating I'm sexist. Sorry, but I am." CV, "Yeah." JOB, "And then the defense from reform UK becomes. These comments were made before he entered politics. He's perfectly entitled to his own personal opinions." CV, "That was three weeks ago." JOB, "Yeah, yeah. It's extraordinary that he can state that because Murdoch didn't get dropped by the party for the conviction for battering his ex, he got dropped after it emerged that he'd taken Covid loans out under the COVID support scheme. I think that's still ongoing." JOB, "But to state I am sexist, sorry, but I am in 2024 would have probably been a career ending revelation. Do you think? We're going a bit backwards, But I think we" CV, "have the potential to go backwards and we now, you know, generally you go, life's good. You know, doing this, that and the other. When I began my career as an engineer, funnily enough, not many women then were talking about having a career because not Many women have been to university and all of that." CV, "Now, thankfully, decades later, women are having careers. But also, housing was a lot cheaper then. So now we need to. You need, two incomes to fund a mortgage generally in this country." CV, "So the whole business of, oh, well, we're going to scrap the law that says about equal pay. That's going to affect people directly. And this is what I want people to understand, really. This is. This is not just about a woman getting on a high horse about something." CV, "This is very, very, very. Couldn't be more serious." JOB, "And, yeah, it is, of course, people like Nigel Farage and Sarah Potchin who claim that they're the party dedicated to protecting women and children. I mean, it's beyond irony. It emerged yesterday that one in five of the people arrested over the riots in 2024, which many people feel were fermented by Nigel Farage's social media activ." JOB, "Five of the people arrested over those riots have since been reported to the police for domestic abuse. So to simultaneously encourage and excuse the misogyny that's been directed at you and at other women while claiming. And, of course, to put a violent offender into Parliament and say that that's not an excluding offense while simultaneously claiming that they act for women and children is, It's beyond parody, isn't it?" CV, "And those same people who were arrested, there were almost 900 of them, weren't there? About the riots across the country at the time, 41% had already, been reported to the police for domestic abuse." JOB, "So who are the women and children they're dedicated to protecting?" CV, "Well, quite." JOB, "And who are they protecting them from?" CV, "None." JOB, "It's good to see you. I knew that you would be, perturbed by this, but." CV, "I am." JOB, "But enraged?" CV, "Yes, I am." JOB, "And are you expecting an apology? I know you've demanded." CV, "Well, I can't." JOB, "You did not demand anything." CV, "I can't demand anything. I have asked for an apology. Not for me." JOB, "No." CV, "But for all of us. And for his comments so far. I just think we're on day three. Nothing." JOB, "Not even a whisper nothing or a nothing." CV, "He's still running away. Hiding away from cameras, maybe." JOB, "Don't hold your breath, Carol. Thank you." CV, "Thanks, James." JOB, "Still waiting. I hope she didn't hold her breath. We got a statement from Reform Councillor Kenyon, made these comments before entering politics. We are confident that he is an excellent candidate who will be a superb local MP for Makerfield. And a full list of all the candidates running there can be found at lbc co uk"
