They are comparable to another duo though. Give them a little bit longer and they will be reading each other’s minds like McDavid & Draisaitl.

These are professional footballers. They’re not just local players, these guys are playing for the biggest clubs in the world. Morocco let them land in Rabat without adequate security, just to frustrate them. They tried every means, but God did.

Jason Kidd on what’s fair for the fans to say: “Dealing with grief. We have the best fans in the league, and they can come and cheer and boo. If they don’t like the way we’re playing, if we’re being lazy, but I don’t think the fans are booing the guys are playing as hard as they can…They have a right to speak on what they believe…I think it’s fair, that’s why they’re fans. They paid to come watch the game. As long as it’s not disturbing the next fan that’s come to watch the game and cheer the guys on.”

Dwyane Wade compares Cade Cunningham to Brandon Roy “These two guys are big guards who play with pace and patience. You can never rush them — they let the game come to them. The biggest thing about them is that late in the game, they know how to organize and they know when to take over games.”

Arteta on the players battling a physical strain: “Yes, but when I see them track back, when we lose the ball and the habits that they have, it's just amazing. That's why I know what they are doing, these players. There is a reason why we are the only English team in the competition, because this league and this schedule takes the hell out of you and it's very difficult to do what we've done. “We are not perfect, we need to improve things, that's for sure, we recognise that, but let's value what these players have done because they deserve it.”

Scottie Scheffler was asked ahead of the BMW Championship his thoughts on the new changes coming on the PGA Tour and whether he’d like to see any of the LIV players back. On the incoming changes, he said: “Getting the best players competing against each other more often is what we want as players. I assume, you guys in the media, that’s what you’d want to see. I assume that’s what the fans want as well and I think that’s the direction that we’re heading. “Making things a bit simpler in terms of who’s going to be at what tournament at what time. Golf has always been a difficult game to rank when you’re not playing head to head, and so getting the best players playing head to head more often than not in a proper tournament is, I think, the best way to do things.” He then was asked whether he’d like to see the PGA Tour offering LIV Golf players the same opportunity to return that was given to Brooks Koepka earlier this year: “Yeah, I think, when we talk about the best players, LIV has a few players that are really good. I think, the depth that we have on our tour is unmatched, but when you look at higher levels of LIV Golf there are definitely players that would provide a value to the tour and guys that I love competing against as well. “So I think going forwards there obviously has to be some kind of penalties. What they are, I’ll let Rolapp and all those guys figure it out. We have great leadership within the tour now. “But I think having those guys coming back and competing, whatever happens with LIV, whether those guys want to leave, you’ve got to ask them. But for me being able to compete against the best players in the world, there’s definitely some guys that can compete out here and I look forward to the chance of being able to compete with them more often.” PGA Tour BMW Championship

Excellent breakdown of how Georgia Democrats have now defied 3 court orders and are illegally setting up a network to rig their elections “This is remarkable levels of completely f*cking illegal” “What’s happening in Fulton County, Georgia right now is nuts. So on the election board in Fulton County, Georgia, you’re required to have 2 Republicans, 2 Democrats and 1 independent, so that when they make decisions about how they’re going to do elections, you have an equal say. — The board of commissioners, which is above the board of elections, is refusing to seat the 2 Republicans. Now, not only are they required to seat them by law, but also there are now 3 court orders, where judges have ordered that they seat them. And they just said, no. — So basically right now, all the election decisions are two Democrats overruling one independent, just making up any rules they want, and there’s nobody to challenge them. And like I said, not only are these two Republicans required to be sat by law, but the Republican Party has actually gone to the court multiple times and now has 3 standing orders from judges saying they need to be seated. And the Board of Commissioners is just like, ain’t doing it, f*ck you. And right now, the election rules in Georgia are being completely redefined by 2 Democrats. And what’s gonna happen is by the time they actually seat these two Republicans, now the Republicans are gonna have to try to out-vote the Democrats and try to convince the independent to go along with them on everything they need to turn back, which isn’t gonna happen. Like, this is remarkable levels of completely f*cking illegal.”

Paul Pierce says the way the rookie players are playing in the summer league, it shows you the excitement that we put towards this draft: “It’s the build up coming in we was like this is going to be one of the best drafts. And then for these players to come out there and kind of solidify that kind of in summer league because you like, all right, let’s see you know what they really got. And so I love seeing that because it’s nothing better than seeing these guys because this is the time to be optimistic right here.” (Via No Fouls Given)

Mikel Arteta on how he handles transfer speculation with his players: "Very simple. Whatever you read, if you have a question, come and knock on my door and I will tell you whether it is true or not. If we put now the catalogue on all these walls about all the players that we wanted in the last three months, I think we need the whole building to put it on. So I think they know that there's so much speculation with a lot of players. "If ever they feel the doubt of what we think of them and if we're going to recruit a player, I tell them straight away. Normally I do it - so, 'we're going to sign somebody in their position', and normally tell them that these are the plans and these are the reasons why we have the plans. 'We still believe the same in you, but the competition is going to increase.' I prefer to do it that way."

Raymond Felton says the San Antonio Spurs are like a high level AAU team: “They got a sh*t load of talent, a bunch of young dudes who try to get it. You know what I’m saying? And they are very good, they are good enough to win. I’m going to give yall example AJ Dybantsa and Tyran Stokes it was like two other dudes on that team. All high level players. Just fu*king great, two number one players in their class. Beating everybody, whooping everybody winning games they having fun, they come in the game with music on the speaker. They feel good. They go play against them Boozer brothers, play like a team, they together. The Knicks play better as a team, I’m not saying San Antonio don’t. It’s just the camaraderie these dudes have went to college together, these dudes are friends.” (Via ToTheBaha)

Mike Evans says elite players are separated by their ability to tolerate boredom “When I was in college, I had a lot of film on Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Moss, Brandon Marshall, all those guys. But I also watched the smaller guys, really. Welker. Dudes that had great footwork and understanding of combinations.” “I used to just pick apart everything they did, releases, hand fighting down the field, all those things. It was crazy how fast I was able to excel, my game, just watching them.” “For younger receivers, younger football players in high school and middle school, if you’ve got access to film, you need to watch film, the good and the bad, not just highlights. You need to watch the whole thing. How they practice. How the pros practice.” “When I got to college, you watch every practice, every play. All of it’s critiqued. I learned really early how to practice hard. I would say their consistent work ethic and their consistent discipline. Because you can get bored easy doing the same thing over and over. If you do anything too many times, it gets boring.” “But the way they stay consistent and just keep working and stay disciplined, that’s why they’re where they’re at, playing at the highest level.”

🚨🎙️Alex Ferguson responds to who is better between Ronaldo and Messi and the difference between them and other players 🗣️ Interviewer: Why, in your view, are Ronaldo and Messi the only present-day world-class players in the game? 🗣️Sir Alex Ferguson: Well, it’s obviously an opinion. A hundred managers around the world would be saying “oh, my player, my player…” — you know, we have this exaggeration about what a class player is. But the reason I single out Messi and Ronaldo is, first of all, their consistency, their balance, their excellence on the ball, and their courage. They’re never dented by a tackle. They always give you the ball back, they always score the golden goal. The level they play at, week in, week out… and I think most players in the world — probably everyone — would agree with me: these two guys are above everyone else( Erling Haaland, kylian Mbappe, harry Kane , dembele) . There’s no question about that. They’re fantastic to watch, and they never miss a game. They play all the time. They give value to everyone watching football around the world. 🗣️Interviewer :So the question is: is one better than the other, or are these two simply the very best? 🗣️sir Alex :Ronaldo’s my boy he is the greatest of all time
