Quick question: why is it mostly only Manchester United legends that still move like brothers even after retirement? You rarely see that bond at other clubs. Even Bastian Schweinsteiger, a Bayern Munich legend, doesn’t vibe with ex-teammates the way he does with United legends.

🚨 GARY NEVILLE INTERVIEWS SIR JIM RATCLIFFE 🎙️ 🎤 Gary Neville: "Jim, Manchester United fans can accept losing football matches. What they struggle to accept is watching Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and even Newcastle move quicker in the market while United spend weeks negotiating every deal. Why does it feel like this club is always reacting instead of leading?" 🗣️ Sir Jim Ratcliffe: "That's a fair question, Gary. Manchester United have spent years trying to solve problems by making quick decisions. Sometimes that works, but more often than not it creates even bigger problems. We're trying to build something sustainable. That means identifying the right players, making sure the manager wants them, making sure Jason Wilcox and the recruitment department agree on them, and making sure the financial side makes sense. Could we move faster? Yes. Should we move faster when the right opportunity is there? Absolutely. But speed without direction is how clubs end up spending hundreds of millions and rebuilding again two years later. We're not interested in repeating that cycle. The supporters deserve a Manchester United that competes for the biggest trophies every single season not one that wins headlines in July and disappoints in May. That takes discipline. I know patience is difficult at a club like this, but I'd rather be criticised today than leave the next Manchester United manager with another broken squad." 🎤 Gary Neville: "So you're asking the fans to trust the process?" 🗣️ Sir Jim Ratcliffe: "I'm asking them to judge us when the work is complete not halfway through it. At Manchester United, success has never been built on one transfer window. It's been built on getting hundreds of decisions right over a number of years. That's exactly what we're trying to do."
