@WGRural @1GarethWynJones This dog had attacked sheep. A court - often the police - would advise it be destroyed. Because it ‘cannot be trained.’ This is what responsible e-collar training does. Do this FIRST and the attacks would never happen. Nothing dies. No income lost. No stress. No brainier.

@WGRural @1GarethWynJones Hi Rob, please can you not tag Gareth Wyn Jones in your tweets from a police account -many people have concerns about his behaviour and by tagging him you appear to endorse him from an official police account. We can all agree on responsible dog ownership without involving him.

@WGRural @1GarethWynJones 1:2 Retractable leads (as shown here) are absolutely AWFUL for controlling determined dogs - irrespective of size. They rely on strength in the fingers as opposed to the arm as that’s the point of impact when the dog lunges. They’re notorious for being pulled out of owners’ hands

@WGRural @1GarethWynJones So Rob (Taylor). It appears the majority (on Twitter) favour you tagging Gareth who, I must say, is the most eminent sheep farmer from Gogledd Cymru. Keep doing what you’re doing!

@1GarethWynJones @WGRural The amount of poultry I’ve lost due to dog attacks and irresponsible owners not having dog on a leash is really frustrating. Signs up everywhere and people still choose to ignore or think there dog won’t attack….

@WGRural @1GarethWynJones 2:2 A strong leather lead with a brass g-clip & a snug fitting buckle collar are far more reliable. Better still, avoidance train (sheep proof) the dog to NEVER want to chase livestock in the first place & use a lead out of courtesy, not necessity.
