I felt the same today. Didn’t see any trouble, everyone was dead polite and friendly - even 1 guy lending me his hat when it rained. I felt very safe with the most amazing atmosphere

The silent majority are at home watching on social media (like me and my wife in Cheshire). So, what you've seen today is just the tip of an iceberg. Interesting times indeed.

I dint feel as though i’m going to get my phone or wallet stolen or get attacked being the poignant sentence 💯👌.

I said exactly the same!! I’ve not felt as safe in London as I did today for a very long time! It was a wonderful united feeling! We lost this for a while, but it’s reborn. We have to stand together ❤️🇬🇧

I felt completely safe. I was standing on a wall, and lots of people handed me their phones to get a 360° video from my vantage point. It was lovely.

This is a positive reflection of London yesterday and feeling safe

I was there and there was more people than they care to admit. However each person will know the amount of people in that small space. It was almost a disaster waiting to happen, but because everyone was so lovely nothing bad happened.

We were stopped on the North side of Westminster Bridge and funnelled along the Embankment but finally found our way to Trafalgar Square where we were met by yellow clad thugs masquerading as police.

I'm not British but I'm so proud and happy for you! Let hope it leads to good results and that the west will follow!
