Quick request for help, if you speak Spanish fluently. I'm testing out AI audio translations for Laracasts videos. How accurate is this? And how distracting is the fact that of course the translated audio doesn't match up with my mouth?

It sounds like you! 😱 Love that it even gives you a teeny bit of a "gringo" accent ❤️. Some things will have to be adjusted, especially regarding vocabulary: E.g. We never translate "hook" as "gancho". We keep the work "hook." If you need help, or just a second set of ears, I'm a native Spanish speaker, worked as a translator for over a decade, work in tech, and I'm a Laracasts' lifetimer.

Yeah, it would be cool if I could specify a list of words along with my preferred translation. So "hook" remains "hook".

I don't understand a word, but it sounds just like you. Crazy :-)

You speak very well in Spanish, but let me tell you something, as Spanish speakers we need to be forced to learn English to be able to get good paid jobs or have success in the Tech Industry, so give us a favor and just keep doing fantastic videos in English.

I'm native spanish speaker. It sounds a little funky. Some word are not correct and other words don't have a one to one translation like "property hooks". I don't know how to say that in spanish, pero "gancho de propiedades" does not sounds ok.

Really good. Except for a phrase. Property hooks is what you said?

Spanish here. Very good in general, though property hooks is translated as “propiedades de gancho” which sounds weird to me (and to be honest I don’t know what the correct translation should be). In most cases this kind of words for concepts are not that literally translated.
