Quinn will be blamed because we have Arch. Arch will be loved until he struggles against Ohio State. Then Arch will be blamed because we have Owens. Owens will be blamed because we have Lacey. Lacey will be blamed because we have Bell. Bell will be blamed...

QB1 has the ball in his hands with 2min to go, inside the 30. The Field goal misses, the running game, it all evaporated. It’s a legacy drive for a QB. It then repeated itself in OT. High arcing lobs both out of bounds. Is what it is. #hookem #texaslonghorns

Quinn Ewers barely completed 50% of his passes. I don’t know why you have to defend him.

Fact: Texas couldn't run the ball. Also fact: Quinn is a statue.

Number 3 is one dimensional. Number 16 is not.

True, we didn’t run the ball well today. But we ran it great at TAMU, and still the offense looked meh. Quinn threw two picks, had a couple more picks dropped, and missed open receivers in the clutch. We move it great til the red zone, then he goes soft.

At the elite level of college football you have to have a QB who can sometimes scramble for 3 or 7 yards or 1st downs (not saying VY) instead of taking 7 or 10 yd losses every time. Defense doesn’t have to guess on 2nd & 17. Can just pin their ears back.

Texas wins if they make the FGs

Quinn threw 2 INTs and took 6 sacks. Would a running game have helped? Sure. But if you saw that statline before the game you would not have expected Texas to win and we didn't. By all means criticize the lack of a running game, but you can't let Quinn off the hook here.

Never give up on the Dawgs…. Texas does have a well put together team….both teams well coached
