A VIGIL OF LOVE - For those with no voice Nov 14 Today was a long day a beautiful vigil surrounded by so much love we cried we have laughed and just had a warm meal created by the incredible loving support on the farm. One step in front of the other. The four walls of the house still feel the safest like maybe nothing out there has changed, maybe if we go out there the Ostriches will still be there instead of the Great Canadian Nightmare this has become. This is where the world mourns and this is where consciousness begins. This vigil is not only for the ostriches of Universal Ostrich Farm. It is for every sentient being whose life was taken without mercy, without understanding, without respect. These animals were no threat. They had no weapons, no malice, no agenda. Their only “danger” was the extraordinary potential locked within their eggs, their immunity, their gifts gifts that could have helped humanity, healed our bodies, and changed medicine forever. Ok, so the new Midjourney Style Tuner is here and it's a MASSIVE update. There is so much to unpack, no way I can do it all in one post, but here is an overview. You start by typing in /tune followed by your prompt. MJ will generate a range of sample images (between 16-128) showing different visual styles based on your prompt. Then you choose your favorite images from the sample to generate a unique code you can use to customize the look of future jobs. (link below) So for example, I just tried it with the prompt: 💬 1990s, a photo of a woman dressed in fuzzy velour, shimmering midnight hues reflecting sadness by the lake, a contemporary nightmare on cross-processed film --ar 4:5 --c 4 I selected 10 images, which generated the code zlPhgLCHDXol64kPlwSUzu97. I can then add it to my prompt using --style {code} But it makes more sense if you try it yourself, so try playing around with my Style Tuner for that prompt and generate your own code from your selections: Some quick notes: -You can control the level of style applied by adding the --s parameter to your prompt. -You can combine multiple styles together by separating with a hyphen, i.e --style code1-code2 I will be obsessing over this all day tomorrow and sharing everything I learn along the way. In the end, I spent an entire afternoon in the editing room, and the whole team decided together that my natural voice might suit Pei Yi better. My voice isn’t perfect, and my delivery isn’t the absolute best, but perhaps for Pei Yi who isn’t meant to sound overly polished or perfectly ‘pretty’ my vocal tone fit the character more.
